Columbus day or Thursday for MNSSHP???

Which do you think would be the better day to plan for MNSSHP? We are there from 10/13/14 - 10/19/14. I think we have the date for the MNSSHP narrowed down to either Monday, 10/13/14 (Columbus Day) or Thursday, 10/16/14. (Looks like the party is also happening Friday, 10/17/14, while we are there, but I figure we should avoid it on a Friday due to locals.)

If it were you, would you choose Monday (Columbus Day) or the following Thursday for the Halloween party?

It probably won't make much difference. The big factor is whether it's a work/school day the next morning. It often sells out the Friday before Columbus Day, but Columbus Day night should be fine.

Well, this is good news! I assumed it would be sold out because of Columbus Day! Either way...can't wait!
