Columbus Day 2007?

Hello all my American friends!! When is Columbus Day this year? Do the parks get really busy during that weekend or day? I'm currently planning a trip early October & want there to be as few crowds as possible!!

Columbus Day is Monday, October 8. In fact, Columbus Day is always the same day as Canadian Thanksgiving....the second Monday in October!

I was there during Columbus Day this past year and I didn't find it to be overly crowded at all. We flew in the Friday before and flew out the Saturday after. We had a fabulous time and no major lines to speak of. The weather was fantastic! I am hoping to go again the same week sometime in my future!
