Hi everyone,

Has anyone been to Columbia Restaurant in Celebration? The menus looks fantastic.

Columbia is awesome. If you like Cuban food, you won't be disappointed. They have a signature "1905" salad that is wonderful. I definitely recommend them.

If you are coming to Celebration, several good restaurants are Columbia, Celebration Town Tavern & Shannon's. I would recommend you stay very far away from the Market Street Cafe. They have been closed for code violations and other issues.

We really enjoyed the food & service at Columbia. And their mojitos are very tasty and refreshing! :)

There are a few Columbia Restaurants in Florida. We ate at the one up in St Augustine and it may have been the best meal that I ever had :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2. We are planning on trying the one in Celebration over Christmas vacation.

We LOVE Columbia! Never ate at Celebration location, but have been to both the Tamps and St. Pete restaurants. You will not be disappointed. Usually I am not a big fan of restaurants because I'm cheap and think....I could have made this at home for a lot less.

At Columbia I feel our meals were worth every single penny! Enjoy!:thumbsup2

I love Columbia and didn't know there was one in Celebration! This is my lucky day! It's on my list for the end of the month now!

Thanks everyone for your input. I've had a look at their menu and I think I'll have a difficult time deciding what to have ... each dish sounds better than the last! Are reservations recommended, and if so, how far in advance should we book?

Depends on when you're going--peak season etc.

The last time we went--I made the reservation right on their website and called a couple days before our arrival in Florida to confirm.

Hi everyone,

Yes, it's very good. Not the best of there locations but still very good and well worth it. Try the ropa viejo.

We have a Columbia here in Sarasota, and it's widely thought of as one of the best restaurants in town. (And that's saying something, believe me...)

My family has easily eaten there over 50 times in the past 20 years. It's wonderful.

The "1905" salad and a bowl of homemade black bean soup is a meal in itself.

The "red snapper Alacante" is one of the best meals I have *ever* had.

Enjoy. :wizard:

Yes! I've been to the Columbia in Ybor City as well as the one in Celebration. I really prefer the former just because of the history of the restaurant, but the food at the Celebration location is the same. 1905 salad and a Cuban sandwich, wish I could have that for lunch today. :)

Thanks for posting!!! We usually eat all our meals on-site for the convenience but will definitely give this place a try!
