Does CHH have an elevator, or a way for guests in wheelchairs to get to the second floor? Just curious. Thanks!

There is no elevator open for public use. There is an elevator, but it is in the backstage area. There are plenty of seats on the lower level, so you should not have any problem getting a table.

The elevator is backstage, but you can ask a CM to take you up. The Keys to the Kingdom tour includes lunch upstairs at CHH, and there are people who take the tour with wheelchairs and ECVs.

Here is a link to an old thread on the Disabilities Forum - as far as I know, the policy is the same as it was then. It is possible that it has changed, but I'd post on that forum to get a definitive answer. :goodvibes

Ah okay. I couldn't remember seeing one there before, but thought there might be somewhere.

We did a Keys tour with a guest in a wheelchair. They were escorted upstairs to eat with us and then down again. I had never seen the elevator, but it is there, if you need it

It's true that it's used for the tour, but I don't think it is available otherwise just to dine there.

No problem. I was more just asking because I was curious. I think dining upstairs usually offers a more relaxing meal experience. Downstairs just seems a little more hectic. If the elevator is back stage, I can understand why the CMs would not be able to allow regular guests to use it, esp. when there is ample seating downstairs.
