Columbia Harbour House reviews...

Love this place. We usually go at 11;30 before crowd and nicely air conditioned nice atmosphere and smell of the food is awesome.

Shhhhhhhh!

Just Kidding! We really like CHH and it is a nice change from burgers and fries. I like the Tuna sandwich and DH likes the fish and chicken.

I've had almost everything on their menu (it's a MUST DO for us each trip) and I've never disliked anything. My favorite is the Anchors Aweigh Tuna Sandwich.

I really liked the fish and chicken that I had there. I just thought it was funny that the fried fish was identical to the fish that I had at the ABC Commissary the day before, a place that everyone seems to hate.

If this was a restaurant close to home you might think it was just OK. But considering how close it is to a crowded Fantasyland, it is so refreshing to eat there. I really enjoy the atmosphere - cool and relaxed. The tuna seemed surprisingly tasty.

I have always stuck up for the fish & chips at ABC Commissary at DHS - I thought they were very good! Now anything else in there IS questionable!

Another vote for the tuna sandwich. It's so yummy. I love sitting upstairs too!
Just a shame they got rid of the thick fries.

CHH is one of our favorite CS and usually where we start our vacation, lunch right after we arrive. The tuna sandwich and the hummus sandwich are my favorites, a nice change from burgers and fries. We sit upstairs and watch the crowds go by...:)

I agree. It is a nice change from the standard fare! We were there recently and I had my usual tuna sandwich. This trip the tomatoes on the sandwich were some of the freshest I've had at a casual restaurant and I like that it is on a multi grain bread. Super tasty. We actually ate there twice in June, upstairs wasn't crowded at all and lines aren't bad if you go just a bit before noon.
:)

There are many things on this menu I don't like, but there is one thing I love! It's the only place in the parks to get fried shrimp. And it comes with fries and slaw, and the slaw is great. The shrimp are large and delicious. The fish is great too. I usually end up eating here each trip to Disney. Most trips I see one burger the whole week, and I have to seek that out. Try that at any other theme park.

We ate there yesterday. The worst experience every in all my visits to Magic Kingdom. We arrived there at 8:20pm figured we would have a quick bite hit a few rides before the fireworks then the parade. NOT!!! We ordered our food and about 20 mins later we noticed that only one line was getting their food and we were not the only ones. About 40-50 people in the other 7 lines were not getting their food either. The crowd started shouting at the servers on why it was taking so long. The servers had to take everyone's receipts and hand it to the cooks because the computer systems was not working. We asked for a manager and Carla who claimed to be the manager stepped out from the back. We explained what the problem was and she stated "what do you want me to do about it, you will get your food when its ready" rolled her eyes at us and walked back to the back. We did not get our food till 9:10pm and it was horrible. If you like fried food with sorry service then this is your place to go. I will never go back.

Loved it. I liked the tuna sand. It was nice to have a break from the hamburgers that so many of the qs places serve.

It sounds like this is the place to avoid if the computer system is down so thanks for the heads up. Otherwise I'll continue to go there.

I always get the tuna sandwich and we sit upstairs where it's quieter. It's my favorite QS restaurant.

I really like the tuna sandwich, too, and the tables upstairs, especially the ones next to the windows for people watching. CHH is a favorite! :thumbsup2

We really enjoyed CHH. The clam chowder certainly wasen't the best I've ever had but it was alot better than I expected to get QS in a theme park and I enjoyed it. The freid fish was also quite good (my DS and I shared the two entrees) and my daughter who loves fish and chips has proclaimed it her favorite ever. We went at an off peek time and found it relaxing. We also liked that the interior was dark. That coupled with the air conditioning made for a nice change of pace from the park.

I agree with the 'it's good not great' assessment, which means I enjoyed my tuna, but no one else in my family likes tuna or the other choices, so we won't be returning on our next trip.

We did enjoy the upstairs view and quiet atmosphere as a break from the crowded park :thumbsup2

Columbia Harbour House is probably our favorite counter service establishment on the property. We enjoy the food and it's very nice and quiet upstairs during the evening hours. :thumbsup2
