How is the food at Columbia Harbor House ?

Are the Chicken nuggets all white meat ? Are they greasy or crispy ?
Are the french fries good ?
Are the apple slices in plastic packages ?

The Anchors Aweigh Sandwich - white tuna with lettuce and tomato on toasted multigrain bun ->
Do they add mayo to the tuna ? Is the mayo on the light side or on the heavy side ?
Do they also add onions and or celery to the tuna ?

Any recommened items from the menu at Columbia Harbor House in MK?

Apple slices are in a package, and the french fries are good.

I like the Lighthouse Sandwich (vegetarian), and I have made one at home!

Our kids had the chicken nuggets off the kids menu and they were the typical nuggets found everywhere in the world.
The fried are very good.
The apple slices are packaged.
We didn't have the Tuna Sandwich so I can't comment. We did have the fried shrimp plate twice and loved it. Very yummy, not greasy, very generous portion of shrimp with fries and very fresh coleslaw. We also loved the apple pie thingy they had for dessert. DH has the chili and thought it was very good.

My favorite MK CS. Yes the chicken is white meat (on the regular menu anyway - childrens' menu orders may turn out to be processed chopped chicken). I get the chicken/fish combo. Never tried the tuna as I do not eat mayonnaise and I believe it does contain mayonnaise. But the hummus sandwich looked good.

I'm probably in the minority here but CHH is one of our must avoid places. DW had chicken strips that tasted like fish and my fish was a big pile of grease. We ate there our last trip only because we took the KTTK tour and lunch was provided. Otherwise we will never set foot in there again.

I love CHH and it is my favorite CS at MK and overall! I like the upstairs seating that offers a nice view of the park and a quiet escape from the ordering area downstairs.

The chicken and the fish are fried but I don't feel they are excessively greasy. I really like the fries and they offer malt vinegar at the condiment station which I love on my fries and fish! The chicken is that yummy all-white 'whole' chicken and not pieces. I was really worried when they went from 'tenders' to 'nuggets' but it was unfounded because the nuggets are just as good as the tenders but just in a smaller form. I also like the clam chowder. But I have not tried the sandwiches so I can't comment on those.

We too enjoy eating there. DH loves the fish, DD1 loves Clam Chowder, DD2 and I love the shrimp platter. We don't eat the tuna, sorry not able to help there, but the food is tasty.

We ate there today for lunch and enjoyed it. The kids had the clam chowder and really liked it. I had the tuna sandwich... It was good. There is mayo, but it seemed pretty light. DH had the BLT salad.... The chicken in it was tasty....

I love the chicken/fish combo... never tried the Shrimp combo, is it covered by the DDP as a CS pick? I might have to try it..


As for the food.. i love it, it's great, the coleslaw is to die for and the fries are amazing!!!!!

Pooh Colombia Harbor House is a favorite CS for our family when we are in the MK...

Although we have never had the chicken nuggetts there..the tuna sandwich is very good not too much mayo at all and another suggestion is the Lighthouse sandwich which is made of hummus tomato and broccoli slaw is delicious! HTH a little!

It is also very roomy and has lots of rooms upstairs with plenty of seating and a nice nautical themeing...

CHH is pretty much the only CS we'll eat at in MK. I don't think it's as good as it used to be, but we've been going to WDW for 30+ years so I suppose some decline in quality is inevitable.

We have always found that CHH to be good. Never too greasy and fresh tasting. Last trip, for dinner, we each got fish and then split a shrimp platter----we were such pigs!!

Make sure and sit upstairs, nice and cool and check out the tables that are actually over the walkway from Fantasyland to Liberty Square....fun to people watch too!

CHH is one of my very favorite CS restaurants at WDW!! I usually get the fish and chicken basket and the apple dumpling - yum!!! The atmosphere is fantastic - love to sit upstairs with a view of the Haunted Mansion!!!

Here's another vote for CHH as best CS restaurant at WDW. I go there at least once every trip, sometimes more. We usually either share the tuna and lighthouse sandwiches.

The tuna isn't too heavy on the mayo. I honestly can't remember what else is in it - whatever it is, it is delicious! And yes, the fries are very, very tasty. I usually get a bunch of salad dressing (available upstairs - you don't have to ask for it at the counter) and dip my fries in blue cheese and ranch and honey mustard.

Columbia Harbour House is my favorite counter service location in any of the theme parks, and my family eats lunch there at least once each trip.

As others have said, the chicken nuggets on the adult menu are all white meat and not too greasy. They are the standard nuggets served everywhere on property. The fries are the basic fries common throughout the parks. This place used to have delicious, thick steak fries, but that is no longer the case.

The tuna sandwich contains mayonnaise, but it's not overloaded. I do not like food drenched in mayo.

My favorite menu item is the hummus sandwich.

I only get the tuna sandwich and I don't remember noticing onions. I just know that the sandwich is wonderful!

DS enjoyed the fried stuff but he gets the combo. He seems to like the fish the best.
