I am excited about the Sweet Tea!! Is it as good as McAlisters Sweet Tea? I have another question. Do they still have the chicken strip baskets? I thought that I read somewhere that they changed it to chicken nuggets. Are they very different from the strips? We love to take a little break and head upstairs and rest for a few. I'm so happy that now we can enjoy a glass of sweet tea!! It's so nice that they think of us Southerners!!

Aladisneygurl, I grew up in Elba, down in the southeast corner of the state ... recently notorious for the awful mass shooting in the Samson area, and also infamous for frequent apocalyptic floods. It'll always be home, I reckon. DW is from Montgomery.

Marciagms, I see you're from Madison (we have a Brandon address, altho I'd call it Flowood) and since you're a fan of McAllisters sweet tea, I know you "get it", too.

Back on topic (sorry - we Southerners are prone to socialize!), I've just about decided that CHH is our favorite CS spot in the Magic Kingdom. I like Pecos Bill's for burgers, and Cosmic Ray's is good all-around, but CHH is just a little more "refined", if that makes sense. Maybe the decor has something to do with it.

I do miss the Monte Cristo sandwich that used to be available at CHH. That was something fine.

I have a minor question for you.

Last May, CHH seemed to close before 5pm. What are the current opening hours? Does anyone have them?

Perhaps we were just unlucky with our days, we just missed out. We are back next month and we are determined to find an open CHH.

The mere discussion of chowder, tea and sandwiches is making me drool.

On Party nights (MVMCP, MNSSHP) they close at 5pm. Otherwise, there open til 7pm or later depending on park hours.
