coloured staples

hey guys, target has coloured staples 2000 in a box for 99 cents. they have red, yellow, blue and green. They also have the cutest box of different shaped brads (stars, hearts, etc) in different colours, 100 for 99 cents. I have no clue what one does with coloured staples but I bought a box of each colour, figure it's got to be cheaper than the MM ones coming out. I'll let you know what I use my staples on.... maggie

ps: they don't have the staples at the sterling va target, just the cute multi shaped brads, and the circlular paper clips.

The reston, va target has the staples and plain gold brads, no circular paper clips or multi shaped brads.

I got my colored staples at Target but for .24 a box...the price was marked on the peg tag but rang up .99...course they honored the tag. the circle clips are 50 for $1.99--MM has them 24 for $4.00--YIKES!!

I also got the brads--love the blue/red stars! And the circle clips--I told dh they were for the home office but he said he knew they were for sb'ing or I wouldn't want them so bad.

I guess I will need to head over to my Target to check out the supplies there. Is it in the back to school stuff or the reg. office supply section?

Has anyone tried to use these yet? What would you do with them? Anyone do a layout yet?

I checked out the making memories web site and they have a few layouts done for their release of the staples. I'm sure their version will be much more expensive.

Thanks for the heads up on the colored staples..could only find red,green & gold..hmm do I sense a Christmas album in the making? found the brads too they are really cute saw the circular clips but as I am not a great scapbooker (just think I am) could'nt figure out how to use them..also the animail paper clips couldn't find them in my pier 1 but found a great pitcher for 2.18 to make summer lemonade in..what do you guys use the paper clips for and also couldn't find the layouts with the staples on MM..? TIA for any answers and all your ideas..Marianne
