Anybody use these? I found some in different colors at my Big Lots today for $1.99 a pkg. I don't have the alphabet dies for Sizzix yet, so this seemed like a good deal for me. The packages I got are labeled that there are 1300 pieces, and one of them looks just like the Lollipop alphabet dies.

Yes, I've got the primary ones that look like lollipop. I got them at Michaels about $6 after 40% off coupon, so you found a great deal. I did find the numbers at Big Lots to go with them though for $1.99. I liek them, but they are a pain to glue on. I wish they were sticky.

They are sticky. You peel off the white backing.

I use them. I've got several different colors and they work great!

Mine must be a different brand then because they aren't sticky. I'm really jealous of your great deal if yours are sticky! I may have to go to Big lots to check. I'm going to double check mine again and feel like a real dummy if they are, but I've checked before and the back didn't come off, plus they are way to thin to have any kind of backing. I'll check again just in case. That makes me feel ripped off for buyint the ones at Michaels. I'm going to check the brand too to see if they are colorbok.

Christina, I just opened the package  , and mine don't have sticky on them either. I think there were some there though that had sticky on the back. I know they had some shapes (flowers) that were sticky-backed.

They had some nice Tracey Porter scrapbooks for $4.99 today too. They haven't added much else lately.

Yeah, they come in sticky and non-sticky versions. Same brand, same packaging, one says sticky and the other doesn't. The stickies have a LOT fewer letters in the package than the non-sticky. I use my xyron little x for them and it works really well!

Thanks for letting me know that I'm NOT crazy  when I bought them I thought that they were sticky and I was frustrated when they weren't. But at leaset I"m not crazy  They are nice to have though, Ilvoe them and use them all the time, not only for scrapbooking, but for other crafts as well.

Hate them (but at $2 each it's a good deal!)

Why do I hate them? because they are random multicolored packages and each letter is attached to the other letters at the top of the letter with a different color at the top of each letter so if I want to do a red title, I had to pull all the letters apart to get the red ones. KWIM?

They are a pain, but if you are careful, you can get a letter out w/o taking them apart. I rip letters out of the middle all the time. Just do it slowly. I just hate glueing them. I'd much rather have the sticky ones. I'm going to keep an eye out for them. But at $2 they are a great deal and I'd definately get more. I'm going to try to get to big lots to see if they have them here. If they have any different styles, I'll definately be picking them up, pain to glue or not! :Pinkbounc

Were these over by the other scrapbook stuff at your Big Lots? Or on another aisle? I didn't see any at the one we have.

I used them for the GS swap and paid $9.99 a package at Mike's :sad2:
Then I realized I needed 2 packed and had to go back for a second one (but I had a coupon for that one!)
I wish I saw this last week!!!

I found these over with the regular scrapbooking stuff and on the school supply aisle. They seem to have stuff scattered around in my store. About a month or so ago, it seemed they were really organizing the scrapbook stuff, and began stocking a whole side of an aisle with things. Now they've just let that go, and stuff is just wherever they have the room to put it I guess. I got the numbers in b/w and the creamy colors in the alphabets.

I'd say look through the school supplies and also check the gift wrap stuff. I've found that they seem to stick things over there too. For that matter, they have paper over on another aisle with the stuff they had on the Dollar Sale a few weeks ago. They've just left it there and haven't moved it where it goes.

When I found the numbers, they were by the gift wrap/party supplies. My store has scrapbooking stuff everywhere too, school isle, w/photo albums, crafts, etc. You have to have time and patience adn a little luck to find anything there.

I used to use these a lot, until I ran into a color problem. Every once in awhile you get a letter that's a shade different from the rest. This was the topic of a post about 2 years ago and others on this forum said they had the same problem. I wrote Colorbok about this problem way back then and then I waited six months and wrote again, I never did get a reply.

Here's an example of what I mean:

Look at the W and the D

Timon, I don't think the slight color difference looks bad. It actually looks good!

I went to big lots today to see what they had and after looking forever, I found the sticky alphabets. I got some of the funky ones like Timon's picture above, but in red. They also had red lollipop ones, but I have the primary color lollipops already, so I didnt' get those. I also got the pink block letters and pink numbers that matched. The numbers were only $1! I was so happy. Of course, I don't have a girl, so I'll probably hardly ever use them, but for $3 for the set, I couldn't pass them up.
