*ppplllbbtttt* Yeah, right... DH finally said at the nursery store he realized he needed to hire someone for all this work he wanted done (which put him in a bad mood). I just nodded my head in sympathy and bit my tongue hard. No reason to get in more trouble than I was already in. His mood was so bad I brought up dragging him to Hooters. He's terrified of me when I do that... He keeps thinking there's a setup... The reality is they have great chocolate cake for me and it always seems to stop his frowning... probably because he's scared silly... Any time a woman can get $7 for a grilled cheese sandwich, fries, and sweet tea and have a happy customer, I'm ok with that. And yes, the cake is THAT good.

He ended up just taking us for a pretty drive and stopping at TGI Friday's. I'd like to recommend their Peruvian Herb Chicken! The good spices of Indian food, but none of the heat, which made it right up my alley. I think the combination of the food, working in the backyard, and the gorgeous drive snapped him out of his funk.

But hey, I'm keeping Hooters in my back pocket as a trump card! He can't even eat most of their food, but he's so surprised that his WIFE would suggest such a place... Surprising him after almost 10 years together is SUCH an awesome feeling! That's a great threat! The cool part is he so rarely gets in a bad mood the surprise never wears off. *teehee*

this is kelsie's daughter sarah and i wanted to let her friends know she had a terrible accident last monday. she was in the hospital, had surgery on tuesday but is home today. she can't really post and i am staying home today to help my dad take care of her. he hasn't had much sleep lately.

please say a prayer for her, i really miss my mom and hate seeing her hurt so much.

Sarah, I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and your mom. Please, please, please let us know if we can do anything for you. I was afraid something happened with your family because I sent your mom an email about my upcoming cruise and her away message came back saying family emergency and then another travel agent contacted me with the message that was forwarded. Please let your mom know we are thinking about her. Please keep us updated on her status. If you need anything, please let us know. Thank you for letting us know.

DH survived the Paintball Smackdown of '08 and seems to be a masochist. He has a swollen ring finger and several welts from getting shot, and yet he wants to go back! If you know where Amazing Jake's is in Aurora, the paintball place is right up the frontage road, where the old Carpet Mill place used to be. What a nut. He said they make their money from requiring you use their paint balls, but entrance fee was only $20... Lemme repeat that, for $20 and the price of paintballs, you TOO can have welts! Crazeeee person.
