Colorado DISers ... where are you ?

Archivers in Colorado Springs is at the North end of town close to the highway
On Academy.

I take a lot of classes for this girl that does the cutest Disney pages you have ever seen. She puts kits together and we go to her house (she lives in a million dollar home) and make them. She is so good and has every tool you could ever think of. Her kits are time consuming but not that hard. I LOVE her stuff.

Good morning everyone. I haven't stopped by for a while, so I want to add my :thumbsup2 to White Fence Farm now. We usually go with the in-laws for some occasion or other, and we all fight over the corn fritters! They are so good, I could just go there and eat those with some cole slaw and be happy! :rotfl: :cloud9:

Mickey02 - Sorry to hear about your strep throat. I hope you feel better very soon. The wedding sounds beautiful. When is it?

Hope - I'm sorry to hear about your dh's job. Sending him good luck in finding another. :shamrock:

Babytrees - I'm not a scrapbooker, but I think there's still an Archiver's on Colorado Blvd and University in Highlands Ranch, in the Whole Foods shopping center.

Babytrees- yes, there is an Archivers store in the Whole Foods shopping center on University. I like to meet my DH for lunch at Pei Wei sometimes during the week, and then when he returns to work I will go shop at Archivers lol! :flower3:

ohhh may have to go there sometime in the next couple of weeks.

This weekend is Ape-ril at the zoo so I am hoping to go and get more pictures for Abi's room.

The turtle in my avatar is the pig nose in the Tropical Discovery exhibit...I may have to go in there also. Abi is torn between working with primates and ocean dwellers...kid has known she's wanted to work with animals since she was 4...never has detoured. :lovestruc

DS11 is a tiger fanatic; Bengal tigers, to be precise. I even had to take his picture next to a big tiger painting near the restrooms at Elephant Bar. His future plan is to be a cartoonist, though.

sounds like a good plan!!

I find tigers fascinating myself.

Abi is almost 12 and I have learned so much about animals in the last couple of years because she has me watch the documentaries too. Her favorite is The Blue Planet...if I can find a great deal on Planet Earth I will get it for her.

I fully believe he can be a cartoonist. He is amazing!

My other DD is going to the Merchandise Mart, I believe on Monday, for a full day of scrapbooking. They pay 70.00 and get stuff and also a massage. She is so excited.

"Planet Earth" has been showing up at Sam's and Costco. Very tempting.

That sounds like fun. In May I am going up to Mountains and Memories in Estes Park to a weekend retreat. This will be my third trip up there! They are so awesome. Gourmet meals, snacks, drinks, etc all weekend and plenty of cropping space with lots of fun tools!! I've already got two more planned for next year  Last time I was up there I got over 20 pages done.

Wow Sandy-Scrapbooking and a massage! Does life get any better then that??

My Mom and I use to go to the Mechandise Mart. What a fun place!

Heidi-Did you get stuff for the Panama cruise yesterday? I did.

I got "My Cruise Travel Kit"

It is a book with excursions, tips, gifts, setting sail, vacation protection and formal wear stuff in it. You will probably get it today.
