Hi everyone!! I'm a Colorado Springs native myself!! Well kind of...

My dad was Air Force and we moved there my junior year in high school. I graduated from Air Academy and they never left.

I married an Air Force Academy graduate and we've left several times - and moved back several times. Colorado is home to us.

We're in California right now but relocating the Rhode Island this summer for one year. On the way dh has to go through some training and we're staying in the Springs for two and a half months.

I'm a scrapbooker too!!

Air Academy is everybody's rival in marching band competitions statewide.(sorry I am a band geek's mama ) They have amazing programs!!

We didn't decide....I still am leaning toward the 26th or 27th of April. 5:00 on the 26th and about 2:00 on the 27th. How about voting or pm'ing your choice to me??

I need all you Colorado DISers help. I am getting married on Friday, June 6th. The rehearsal dinne was suppose to be at Johnnye Carinos in Lakewood as they have a very nice private patio you can use. Well my fiance finally got around to calling them today (after requesting this several times the last 3 months) and of course the patio is booked up by another party. So do any of you wonderful DISers know of a restaurant that can caterer 30 people and have a nice private patio to seat all of us near each other?

I only know Southwest Denver...except a couple of restaurants.

I got nothing. Maggiano's comes to mind for the nice patio + room for 30 people + rather "budget" + good Italian food, but that's in Greenwood Village.

I am up for either day. On the 26th I wouldn't have any problems at all getting out of work on time. The 27th I should be okay, but you never can tell until you are there. Is there a full moon that weekend? That tends to make it crazier and busier at work too.

How about the restaurant that shares the parking lot with On the Border off of C-470?? Maggiano's would do you that way too.

I don't think the Highlands Ranch Romano's has a big enough patio but they do have a private room.

While we're out tommorrow I'll keep an eye out....how fun!!

It's all coming back to me now...I stopped by to invite you over but you didn't answer the door, so I looked in the window. You were vacuuming and everything is hazy after that. It's almost as though all of the blood left my head. I'm not even sure how I got home.
