Have any of you been called for a fund raiser for MS for April 10th? I just got called and my friend gave them my number. I guess on April 10th, we are going to jail and will be picked up by the paddy wagon by our "parole officer" and will be behind bars for an hour until our "bail" is paid. We will be locked up at Red and Jerry's and they will provide lunch. Our "bail" is set up for $1300 (we don't have to stay longer than an hour if we don't get that much!!!). We will get mug shots to keep. I guess this lets kids who suffer from MS, attend a week long camp and get to go fishing and enjoy the camp. I think it sounds like fun for a good cause.

We just moved to Highlands Ranch this past summer so are still getting used to calling ourselves Coloradians.

We're going back to WDW Dec. 18-26 as soon as the DS finishes his last final.

Just a weird head's up here... Just had a telemarketer call from 866-845-8587 to let me know I had won one of the below:
- $20K
- vacation of my choice
- $1000
- Apple Ipod

Googled the phone number, and sure enough, it's a scam. Stinker. The reason I was posting here was because they've got a storefront set up in Broomfield across from Flatirons Mall for the suckers to come in and hand over their money.

And yes, I filed a complaint with the FCC and called the Attorney General's office. The lady at the AG's office got excited when I told her I had an address for her, and they'd be there until Friday night.

So here's hoping something comes of it.

I think that's the number that has been continually calling this past month. Got many messages from them, too -- CALL NOW! Argg.

Wow I hadn't checked this thread since morning. I can't believe how many of us from Colorado there are.

I sure can relate to sports in the spring. My son plays soccer so I have spent many games bundled up with my heavy winter coat, gloves, and a blanket.

My mom did that for 3 years in a row... she had a great time for a good cause

Goodness - you guys just took off on me today. I didn't expect this many posts I love it I have a couple of friends on the long Chicago thread and I was always so jealous of them and their get togethers !

Today I opened the windows and did a bit of spring cleaning.
I am really ready for the spring weather and no more snow ! Not to mention the faster it comes - the faster my trip comes !

Thanks for all the great reccomendations of food. We love to try new places !

MSSlaydbug, Thanks so much for the PM and the link to this thread! I lived in Highlands Ranch for 9 years but sold my house there in Sept. and I am now living downtown, near City Park and I love it! I work from home 4 days a week and go to the office 1 day so if anyone who works or lives downtown and would like to get together for lunch, drinks, dinner, etc. let me know!

It is great to see so many of us from CO! I was just at WDW in Feb over President’s Weekend and am planning a July 4th ‘Anniversary’trip. I met the guy I am dating (hard to use the term my ‘boyfriend’ at my age) last July 2nd at WDW and we have been in a LDR ever since and things are great! He lives in LA so I do travel to CA a lot now and Mr. CA and kids have a DL AP so when I was there in Nov. we decided that I should buy an AP at DL too and have been 6 times since! We’ll be going to DL when I am in CA in a couple of weeks…can’t wait.
