I agree with Pooh and babytrees. We really don't have all day type rains, especially in the summer. I remember when we use to visit CO before we moved and CO always had a nice quick gentle rain on most afternoons.
Times certainly have changed since then.

I totally agree that we hardly ever have all-day rain, especially in the summer, but be aware that those thundershowers can sometimes bring the temperature down by 20 degrees! It's pretty refreshing when it started out at 90, but can get a teensy bit chilly in the mountains.

I'M BACK!

Took a couple of weeks off for my daughters wedding. I think I am a normal person again. The wedding was beautiful as was Heidi's.

We will be there. I'm not sure which section as my MIL bought the tickets (we go every year for the 4th). I'm sure it is the no alcohol section because my family knows that is the only way I won't be passed out or vomiting on my shoes during the fireworks. I have no self control.

Fireworks started in my neighborhood this morning before 9am.

Just popping in to say hello. Getting ready to take our new puppy to the groomer. No water aerobics today because of the holiday

How was the game? Last I heard the Rockies were ahead. Hope they ended up winning.

Only the biggest come from behind win in franchise history. I don't think I have seen as many over the fence homeruns in all previous games I've attended combined as we saw last night.

We got home around midnight and the neighbors must have run out of fireworks because it was actually quiet.
