I am praying I get the same service I have had in the past with AA because I convinced my mom and dad to book this one at the great deal and they usually fly Frontier.

I hope things go perfectly, but pack a change of clothes and a toothbrush in the carryon just in case.

Well that sucked! My oldest daughter was suppose to be doing a trip through WorldStrides in May to DC, but we had to cancel because of her grades. Now I'm kind of happy she's not going.

I'm not sure I've ever flown AA, almost always United or Frontier. I'll definitely think twice before booking with them.

The other three schools that were involved in the two trips flew nonstop on United. I honestly believe that World Strides booked our kids on the connecting flights because it was cheaper and it was such a small group it may not have qualified for a group rate. I don't know. They did charge us an extra $50 for an "estimated small group fee", it boggles my mind that that wouldn't have covered the difference. My older DD had a great time with them in DC, no horror stories there. But I guess when something goes bad, it just keeps coming.

I'm really surprised that they wouldn't have booked a direct flight, especially with all the safety stuff they told us when we had our DC meeting. It's too bad they had to do that just to save a few bucks.

Did you know that B-52's bar downtown that sits next door to Lodo's bar and grill is closed. It will now be the new home for MTV's Real World reality TV show. I wonder how much $$$ they paid B-52's for them to close up.

Nic is still working at the same place. He just started in again so he won't be able to meet up for awhile. I will email him again and tell him next time he is in town to give me a call and we will set it up.

I forgot to add that Cristi and I are seeing things and it happens to be the same thing. We both saw the Easter bunny riding a motorcycle. I tell you, it is the funniest thing to see. I first thought that perhaps Cristi was "tipping the bottle" when she mentioned it but then I saw it today.

I've never seen the Easter bunny, but we did go to Coors Field on Sunday. It was Dinger's birthday as well as Easter.
