BlackUnicorm, I have some 'take backs' from Disney Direct, so I guess I'd better get down your way (Park Meadows) before my takeback time is up! I've two bathing suits and a pair of thongs that I need to 'exchange'

I ordered the Eeyore suit from Disney Direct, and must say they are sized WWAAAAAAAYYY big! I just found out about this convenience, it's very nice!

Thanks for the heads up on where Pirate's Cove is, no wonder I didn't know, I never get down that way....Water World is closer.

We drove up just north of Granby to check out some campsites that we book and it was amazing at the amount of snow still up at Berthoud Pass. It's just weird to see in June.

Teresa, where did you book your campsites? We used to go to Shadow Mtn every weekend before it got so popular. We loved to canoe at Grand Lake. Now we belong to a private campground in Monument. We go there every weekend now.

Is anyone on this thread going on the Panama Canal Cruise besides Val and me? Just wondering (correct me if I am wrong, Val) but I think her map shows 15 Coloradans from the DISboard going.

Have to go return a movie to McDonalds. Don't you just love renting movies there?

Sandy - We're actually camping at Green River for the first time. We checked it out today and I was a little disappointed about how close some of those sites were to the road and the parking lot for the boat ramp. It was still nice though. Which campsites at Shadow Mountain did you go to? We also do a big trip in August to Pearl Lake. LOVE that place...

I WISH I was going on the August trip, but unless we win the lotto, it's not going to happen

Good Morning

DenverVal We are not going to be able to go on the repo cruise. I had to cancel because one of my daughters is getting married and I could not do a cruise and a wedding. You can't even imagine how disappointed I am.
We are going to do a back to back next July to kind of replace this one.

Bob and I went to the Air Show Saturday. The Thunderbirds flew. It was awesome but cold! The wind was horrible. How was the weather up North?

I am having a baby shower at the end of June. I am doing it in Pooh. I want to get a big Pooh from the Disney store. Wonder if they are having any sales

Back from Estes. Man I love it up there....even with SNOW!! It rained and snowed hard (mostly rain) all Friday and Saturday. Sunday was gorgoues (sp). Haven't tried their taffy yet, I will have to next time. We go up there a lot, we were even married in the canyon. Beautiful.

It is probably to late but when we went to Pirates Cove it was not busy at all. It was wonderful. I didn't have to worry about the kids (as much) and could just relax and play with each of them. I'm sure it will get a lot busier.

ColoradoBelle, I graduated from Cherry Creek also. I'm sure I am older than your dd but I gradutated in 1986. Can't believe it has almost been 20 years!
We, alas, are not going on the panama cruise. We are cruising Sept 17th, so take care of her for us. I think it is right before she goes into dry dock to get that cool movie screen. Drats! We loved that on the Car. Princess.

Jennat I LOVE Estes too. We try and get up there several times a year.
Do you stay overnight? If so where? What all do you do there? Is there still snow there?

My kids are 9 and 6 so we stay at Yogi bear campground usually. They rent cabins, campers, pop ups and sites. They have a ton to do. Candy bar bingo, theme weekends, pool, parks, puttputt, tons to do www.jellystoneofestes.com .
We have stayed at other places to. We really like Brynwood on the River, also.
As far as things to do, we sometimes just stay at the campground. Sometimes go to the place with the bumperboats/race cars, etc, always go do the big slide, we went to the indoor pool and had a great time this time, movie, walk around downtown, go hiking at Bear Lake, that's all I can think of. It is soooo pretty there.
No snow in town but the tops of the mountains are pretty white. DIdn't hike this time. The river is running HIGH!!

I love Estes Park too! My folks have a timeshare up there and I love it when they invite us up there with them. It is so peaceful.

Wish we could go on the repo cruise. Only with the lotto!
We did get qualified for the May repo giveaway that Mix100 gave away. Obviously, we didn't win it though. We did get some DCL prizes from them though... a beach towel, hat and softsided cooler, better than nothing I suppose.

Oh Barb, I am soooo sorry! I think I can imagine the disappointment if I should have to cancel. I hope the wedding is wonderful!

We had a steady downpour most of Saturday. I was supposed to do the Heart Walk, but passed because of the miserable weather.

My debit card number was stolen and $700 was charged to my account yesterday in MEXICO. The charges yesterday said I was in Texas, Colorado, and Mexico all in the same day. I am a fast traveler, I guess!!!

Ya, my cry credit union has already put the money back into my account and they closed the card. This morning I had to call a lot of places to tell them that their charges are going to be denied and that I will write them a check. Very Frustrating!!!

I guess they said that the person charging actually had a card, so somehow they got my number, had a card made up and was charging at gas stops, gorcery stores and 2 other stores. I was thinking it was over the internet charges because they didn't have my card because I have it!!! Guess not, new scams every day. The lady at the bank said it is even easier now with all the camera phones. Be careful with your card!!!!

My good luck will come on Saturday when my sister has the twins and makes me an aunt!!!
