I have a couple of questions:
Does the topper need to be embellished? Once, twice? And does 3 layers count as one of the embellies?
Jounaling box~ embellished?
Does paper ribbon, like what I did for September calendar pages count as embellishment?
Once I get those answers and take care of them then I will have my Pink group done:lovestruc

Everything should be embellished once, an extra layer counts as an embellishment for both pages and elements.

Topper should be a least two layers. It doesn't have to be 8x2; other sizes are okay.

If the journaling spot is hidden, and it is NOT your element, then it doesn't have to be embellished. A hidden tag should still be two layers and there will need to be something in the hole. If your photo mat flips open for the journaling, there doesn't need to be anything inside. On the other hand, if you are making a file folder that will count as your element and you journal spot -- the folder will need to be embellished. If you are making a visible journal box that will be your element and journal spot, it should be embellished.

Please let me know if this is unclear or doesn't make sense.

Yes, paper ribbon counts as an embellishment.

:woohoo: for progress!

My groups look good. I have all the paper for this swap.

Question about paper choice:
I finally found a brown paper I like but its a white background with brown paisley design on it. It makes me think of something Carolyn Ingalls would wear. I would match this up with solid browns for mats, etc.
Yes or no?

This is color group brown. The js is not taped all the way down so that tag can slide in and out. Im trying to go with a theme/title for each page and this is Buttons and Bows.

Im just not sure if Blue needs anything else.
Thoughts and opinions are welcomed, please!:flower3:

Great job on all your pages AR!!! I like them all, but I think the pink is my favorite (couldn't have anything to do with that being my favorite color!:goodvibes)!

Those look great!!! (I too love the pink, even though I'm not usually a fan) It just looks so cool!

Nice pages Rita!

The rest of these are cut, but need to be assembled. THere will be a 4x12 piece of mustardy color and an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of the vanilla (I don't have it in 12 x12 sheets) for the title.

So I chugged away at these today, finished two groups out of my three. I might start the last group tonight if I feel up to it.

Is my orange group okay? Can you tell that it's orange? I had those cute little bubble stickers that I wanted to use, and then the brads matched, but then I felt like I needed one more bit of blue to round it out.... (sorry that the picture quality isn't that good)

Yellow (the bumps on the photo mats are embossed buttons from the Cuttlebug):
