I did the Disney College Program this last spring. My program ended June 5th. My manager told me that I was cleared to go seasonal. In early July, I am picking up a shift in order to visit one of my ICP friends before she heads home. 2 questions. First, some managers told me I would get the normal red seasonal id while other managers told me I would get temporary ids that only lasted the duration of time I am there, which means every time I pick up a shift I would have to get a new id. Does anyone know which managers were right, do I get the red id or the temporary white id like cps have? Second, I am staying in the All Star Resort and booking it through the hub so must have my ID before checking in so that I get my 50% discount. I get to Florida at like 12:45. I have to get to Disney University to get to Access Control before I check in to my hotel. Besides getting a taxi anyone know how to get to DU?

As I understand it, it depends on what your Management Team sends to Walt Disney World Access Control.

If they send Access Control a request for access without a Expiration Date, you'll receive the Red Casual Temporary Cast Member ID Card, otherwise, you'll receive the White Temporary Cast Member ID Card.

In my area, it seems to depend on how often you work. We have a lot of CTers who live in Central Florida and work fairly often. They all have Red CT IDs. Our CTers who live Out of State and just pick up a few shifts a year on the other hand all have to get White ID Cards when they work.

What are the differences infrom white to red id cards ? how many hours do you need to work to remain seasonal ? Thanks

A white id is temporary. It will be issued only during the period you would be working. The CP ID's are the white ID and have the expiration date on them. The red ID's are more permenant. Each year you would get a new sticker on your ID. I think every three years or something like that you must get a new ID. So white id= get a new one each trip you come down to get a shift. red id= get one ID that will be valid for the entire year. To be seasonal you must work 40 hours a year.
