Hi. I am applying for the spring 2011 for my second college program! My first one was in Spring 2008 in Fantasyland attractions. I am really interested in photopass and have a few questions since this was not an option when I applied the first time.

1) I thought originally photopass was only available for Disneyland CPs? Has this changed?

2) The description includes "meeting monthly goals"....what kind of goals are these and are they difficult.

3) I want to be able to go seasonal after my program is over. I know when I was in fantasyland they encouraged CPs to do this but that seasonal availability is largely based on need. Is it a possibility to go seasonal with photopass (provided that my work record is good and I don't have any, or very few, points)?

Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone applying!

Photopass is certainly available to CPers at WDW, or so I'm told! The only person I've come across though worked at DL... so I guess I'm not 100% sure.

The monthly goals relate to sales, I think!... I believe part of the job consists of (trying to) sell photo packages to guests when you take their pictures.

very true, wdw has photopass, and ur getting all this from experience, i was a DPI photographer last year. i loved every minute of it!!!

yes, you have monthly goals, as a location you also have goals or contests between different parks, also something called photo of the weeks or month!:rolleyes1

How awesome! Do you know if it's true that Disney is switching to Nikon D90s (or if they already have?) for their Photopass photographers? I heard about it but I wasn't sure... if that's the case I'm very excited because my dad just got a D90 so I'll be really glad to be able to mention that during my interview (If I get that far!)
