Hi everyone,

My DD is 17 and starts college in September. I heard doing Disney College program is very good on your future resume and opens a lot of doors. Is it true? How long those programs lasts and what are requirements, I mean any number of years in college, GPA and so on. Anyone can give me a link.

If you do a quick browse, you can probably find all of the answers to your questions. The main website is: www.wdwcollegeprogram.com. However, there is also a program in Disneyland.

The programs last 5-7 months, although you can extend up to a year. They usually match up with Fall/Spring semester or even a Quarter system. To apply, you must have completed (or be in the process) of completing your first semester, as well as any additional requirements through your university (sometimes they have GPA requirements to participate in internships.)

It's a great way to get valuable job experience for a major company. If she wants to do the program before college, there is a CareerStart program which is similar to the CP for high school graduates--just modified roles.
