College or not?

For my son (who is only 2) college will not be a choice. He will go to college (which we will pay for) and after that he can decide for himself what he wants to do.

Not to start an argument, but what's to stop an 18 or 19 year old from dropping out of college and moving off on his own? You can definitely encourage a child to go to college, and you can tell them you won't support them financially if they don't, but it's very hard to tell a legal adult they -have- to go to college.
