College essays are AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

It was exactly a year ago that I was writing college essays. You will survive. I promise. I had to write three real essays plus answer a few short answers. I applied to six schools but only 4 required essays and two used the common app one so it wasn't as big a deal. Mine were about a very close friendship that I have that has somehow survived distance, terrorism and its ties to my family, and what my life goals were. I hated writing the college essays, but I made it through. I promise, you will too.

I wrote mine in September. We had to write it for a grade in English class. I'm kinda glad for that, as that MADE me sit down and write it. lol

I used the topic from the Common App about What influenced you? (music/art/science/literature/etc). And I did how Broadway and Theatre have influenced my life.

I'm such a theatre geek. XD.

My app for Gettysburg went out mid-October. I should know within a month if I get in our not!

I'm all done my college applications (most of mine have been sent out, and I've already been accepted to one school). I had to write two essays: one having to do with the school and how it would benefit my future, and anohter about my brother (for the Common App. - on an influential person in my life). I also had to do a couple of short answers.

I had to give a piece of writing for two and the for Depaul I had two essays but i'm so happy I got in so it was worth it. I got into Loyola and my other two schools but I'm going to DEPAUL!

Just apply to many schools... I only applied to one because I didnt care. I didnt even write an essay. I dont really like my school all that much and would rather be someplace else. Take it more serious than I did.
