Interesting, I posted about the fact much of her bankability in her career has been based on her wholesome image and someone responded that she has a large fan base who probably wouldn't care. My instincts told me the Hallmark brand was probably going to want to disassociate from this.

USC made a formal NCAA complaint accusing Stanford of illegal athletic recruiting practices. Stanford’s alleged offense?

They actually promised an education. And you know - a student athlete might just learn something and be able to get a job after graduating.

I read an article that listed all the parents that were arrested. Everyone, I believe was out of California. Did Singer live in California? I would assume his services were kind of “ word of mouth” in certain circles. I am surprised it didn’t come out sooner if that was the case. Also, I am surprised that not more states were represented. There is plenty of money in many other states!

Just another way the system is stacked heavily in favor of those with wealth, while poor people who do relatively minor things (far less than bribery and cheating) go to jail.

I might add that any criminal records for this should be immediately expunged. It's horrible.

I liked her in the Garage Sale Mystery movies and When Calls the Heart and to an extent her Christmas movies

I wonder if they will still release any of the movies already made? I believe they've been 3 or 4 Garage Sale Mystery movies in August for the last year or two. The story I read said they stopped development of all productions related to her I just wonder if that means they'll pull content already made? I'm not sure if they would pull When Calls the Heart which is actively airing at the moment though...I hope not.

I said I wasn't sure that her fans would care, not that the Hallmark Channel wouldn't care. They like to market to "Christian viewers", so I agree that getting charged with a crime involving moral turpitude would definitely be something that would set off PR alarm bells for them.

Hallmark has zero choice in the matter if the claims were substantiated which is turns out..yes yes they are. Their image is wholesome. What she did was not wholesome. Now they may not truly from the bottom of their hearts necessarily care--she got viewership through her roles but she is replaceable as are all the Hallmark channel stars really..doesn't mean that people who liked them in their roles (which just like another person who lost her show it wasn't lori that I cared about it was that I enjoyed her movies and tv show) won't still miss them when they are gone.

I saw her on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan about a month or so ago...they showed her pictures for the "Ten Year Challenge" and she was stunning - could not tell the pictures apart. Now I'm wondering if she cheated on that too...
