Do you have one? Obviously I have my watches… used to collect coins, then games consoles… have sold the excess of them off though. How about you? Perhaps you collect Disney pins? Christmas Tree ornaments? Teddy bears?

Oh yeah. I may have a problem with my collections, comic books being the premiere one. I have...a lot. Also, video games ,Disney stuff, etc. It's just on this side of out of control.

I have quite a few, though some of them are kind of embarrassing. My least cringe one is my Gamecube collection. Been rebuilding my games but it's a slow process as these games are EXPENSIVE. All of these have the manual + any inserts as I'm picky about that.

I bought the Gamecube, cables, memory cards and the black controller for $85 plus shipping on eBay but the battery inside the cube is dead so I'm going to a retro game store that offers repairs to fix it whenever I have the time.

When people think of trading cards, they naturally think of baseball cards, football cards, etc. I collect trading cards for things other than sports. Unsurprisingly, these are known as "non-sport" trading cards. The cards feature things like movies, TV shows, art, etc.

Well, my collection is a very small and defined niche of non-sport trading cards. I collect the promotional cards for these various sets. A promo card is just that; it's a card (or small set of cards) used to promote a set of cards that will soon be released. These promo cards are distributed through various means such as hobby shows, card shops, magazines, etc.

Some promo cards are VERY limited and difficult to find. Sometimes, that's part of the fun of tracking them down. Sometimes, though, the cards are SO limited that there's very little hope for a collector to obtain one.

I have approximately 2 dozen 3" binders filled with nothing but promo cards. That amounts to about 10,000 individual cards.

I collect Sorcerer Mickey stuff, and I also collect fridge magnets. I did collect lots of Disney pins in 2006, but I'm trying to find a way to sell them off now.
