Hello !

It´s 07.16 a.m.

I´m sitting in my office and counting the days and minutes to our next trip on Monday.

Times goes too slow.

:hourglass

I have everything even my APs ... as you all know :lmao:

But there are some other last questions or need for your opinion.

1. Adding two persons to my booking

As last year I will add two persons to my booking. This should be no problem but when will be the best way telling DLP this ?

At the check-in or via email right now. :confused3

Due to my AP per post experience DLP perhaps could upgrade me. I did not know yet.

So what do you think is the best time to add to more persons ?

2. Seeing Dreams with little children

I can not wait to see Dreams live. :thumbsup2

I would avoid the crowds :crowded: with my two little princess princess: there, so that they can see anything and stand without beeing pushed around.

Is there any good spot to see Dreams ?

:wave2:

We have done this for many years now, and always add people at the check in.

I think the only problems people have encountered is if they've booked a room with insufficient beds (e.g., they are trying to add adults when there is only a bunk bed available).

Have a fantastic time :goodvibes

With regards to Dreams, the walkways over by adventureland and frontierland are normally quite good and quite quiet. We stood over there with our little lady both times and had no problems with pushing. There's normally a bit of space too so you can move around to get a good view.

I know you've mentioned this before and I'm wondering why it would be a problem?
All the disney hotels are suitable for 4 adults regardless of the sleeping arrangements, they don't ask the weight of guests using the bunk beds when you book direct or via a travel site, so could they really use it as a reason for not adding a person to a room :confused3

Hope someone can come along and clarify this, I have Cheyenne booked for 4 adults for July, but am in the process of filling in my AP form via THba's instructions, so will then be looking to take myself off the booking, and possibly upgrade the hotel with the right offer, but just need to be absolutely certain that we're not going to get a problem if I then try to add myself on at check in, regardless of which hotel we end up in.

Thanks:)

Sorry Jill,

We've only ever stayed at the DCR, so I have no experience of the onsite hotels.

I read about it somewhere on the forum, but can't remember the exact detail (hopefully someone else will). Regardless, I'm sure you're right, as it clearly hasn't been a common occurrence.

As for the bunk beds:

There are bunk beds at Cheyenne and Santa Fe. Keep that in mind if you add two persons to your booking at the check in.

I do not know if you will get a room for 4 adult persons at those hotel without bunk beds.

Perhaps someone could confirm this.

We always travel with 2 adults and 2 children, so no problem for us.

Some rooms only have 1 double bed plus sofa! I would definately send an email to the correct hotel before you arrive - especially if it is going to be busy next weeks with Easter hols starting!

Have a super fab time!

pretty sure there is a weight limit to the bunks in Cheyenne - I guess it depens on how big you all are if this will be an issue at check in?

Just checked and the weight limit for the bunk beds are 70kg - not sure how strict they are about this though?

Last time we stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne our room was a smaller one which only had a double bed. So I would email the hotel in advance.

We stay at the SQL so I guess there are only rooms with 2 beds.

Sequoia also have rooms with just 1 bed - I would email just to be safe - but them I am a worrier about this kind of thing - imagine if they had no room for you once you arrived:scared:

and this is my point exactly, nobody ever asks about the weight of the adults when you book Cheyenne, my 14 year old is the tallest and heaviest out of all of us, he'd pass for 16 easily or even older except he's not shaving yet! but he's looked 14 since he was 11, (I have no idea where his genes came from !!!). Technically he shouldn't be in the top bunk, whereas his 19 year old brother whose super skinny will be fine, but if I had 2 the same we'd be in real trouble !

Sorry TBha I'm hogging your thread and going off topic :flower3:

I dont know about booking with a travel agent, but it does say on the Disney site if you book direct about the weight limit.

I suppose they are covering themselves, but its never been mentioned over the phone, imagine turning up and being told that 1 of you can't sleep in the room! Or not in the bed anyway, perhaps they'd offer a sleeping bag :rotfl:

Ok.....

I´ve emailed them and no problem adding two persons to my booking. :cool1:

Very quick answer. Not more than 20 minutes.

Another question:

The character show at the DLP Lobby on Thursday to Sunday.

At which time ?

:confused3

i think at 4pm, but there you could just pop in to reception and ask to be sure

Have a great trip!

like above it @ 4pm and I really recommend to pop in... we had a great interaction from characters... but Thursday was less busy than Friday and I guess weekend will be the most busy of all 4 days...

we have been twice just in front of entrance to frontierland and it was good just to come 5 mins before it started and have a good view... and we were there with pushchair so once my husband hold our little boy and once he watch from pushchair and you could see he enjoy on both occasion... its really a good spot to came with kids as you dont want to wait too long before it starts....

Thanks all for your help...well...as always.

:grouphug:

Do you know before which characters will be at the lobby show ?

Only 1 day to go !

:hyper:
