Collapsible water bottles -good idea?

So I've seen these collapsible water bottles on carabiner clips, and thought it might be a good idea for each of us (me, the hubs, dd-17, and 3 ds'-15, 13, 5) to have one at the parks to keep hydrated. Anyone else use them? I figured it's a bit cheaper than buying water bottles there and less to carry around than bringing in traditional water bottles. Just find a bubbler (or water fountain, if you prefer! ) and refill as needed!

I would watch them. Using the clip with a full bottle on a lil boy, after awhile the hole tore I will confess we got some cheap ones. They are very handy and we still use them just not clipped to anyone especially someone who likes to run and climb.

I can't post the link but I got one from Amazon. It folds up pretty small and barely takes up any space. I love it. It's made of silicone and has been very durable.

Just stop at any quick serve location and get a free cup of ice water. then you have ice, its colder and it's filtered (so it tastes better than what comes out of the water fountain). And for me, the carabiner clip is no help because most of what I wear doesn't have a belt loop.

The collapsible water bottle sounds like a great idea.

And with a carbine hook it hangs there safe too. The tip to get ice water is an excellent addition to your refills. I'm sure you all will be pleased with the solution and stay hydrated and happy in the parks.
