I don't know about anyone else, but I have a new favorite soft drink and it is Coke Zero. Now, since Disney has a contract with Coke, I have a question for anyone who lives close and goes all the time, or someone who has just been, does WDW have Coke Zero yet? I would really like to know!

Thanks,

Chris :drinking1

You are the first person I've heard that actually likes it. I heard it was nasty!

Could you tell me what the difference is between Diet Coke and Coke Zero?

It's basically a newer version of Diet Coke. It tastes a lot more like real Coke. IMO it's better than Diet Coke, but I know others disagree. FI likes Diet better than regular Coke so of course he likes the original Diet better.

I agree, it definatley tastes more like original coke. I like it, it's better than the diet coke w/splenda.

I doubt it. They don't have Diet Coke with Splenda yet. They really need to get that first for those of use who can't have sugar and can't have nutrasweet. Coke Zero has nutrasweet unfortunately.

we have fanta zero here in the uk, i assume its the same i havn't tried it tho :confused3

Why can't people have Nutrasweet??

I have heard it can give migraines but other than that it is ok?? or not??? :confused3

They do have Coke with splenda in 2L bottles, I have it.

They most certainly *DO* have diet coke with splenda. I have some in this very house. It comes with a *blue* cap.
I have never had this coke zero bc I avoid anything with aspartame (nutrasweet) I have read numerous studies about how aspartame can lead to health problems, including problems with brain functioning. I don't know if I could link to any articles, but if you do a search on aspartame and health you will find many articles. Aspartame related health problems are the NUMBER ONE source of complaints received bythe FDA.
Personally, I use stevia as a sweetener, drink lots of water, and occasionally have iced tea or a soda w splenda. Every once in awhile I will have a regular soda. I did drink the new diet dr. pepper cherry vanilla. I wish it didn't taste so good, bc it has aspartame! I will be very sparing with when I drink them! :flower:

I think the posters were referring to not having Diet Coke with Splenda AT WDW. (not not having it *in general*)

And I dont' think it will happen.

They don't carry caffiene free coke products (and, when you think about it - coke has ALOT of different products)...I think they should carry that before different girations of diet/coke.

JMO.

Aspartame gets a bad rap from a number of people, but most of the bad things you hear about it are comlpetely false, 100 % urban legends. Aspartame is the most tested chemical in FDA history and is so widely used that if there were any TRUE side effects that affected more than .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 % of the population, it would be broadcast so loudly as a recall notice on the evening news that the left wing media would forget to bash George Bush for ordering french fries instead of a salad at lunch yesterday... pirate:

While I'm sure there are some people out there who might have mild alergies to something in either aspartame or a product that uses it, it has NEVER been linked to any serious side effects in anything, including humans.

It Coke Zero the same as C2, I swear when it came out here the cans all said C2?

Defintely cannot have nutrasweet, gives me horrible migranes and if I remember right there is even a health warning on the packets.

I am sorry, but I have to correct this especially the last line. There was an episode of Montel Williams where he explained that MS is often misdx-ed that it is aspartame poisoning. I am a part of the aspartame victim support group message board online. Again, I am not sure if I am allowed to post links, but do a search for yourself and decide for yourself.

Here are some links: (if they can't be posted, let me know)

As far as it being all over the news, there are plenty of studies to support my convictions, but there is a lot of suppression in the media. Look at what happened with Big Tobacco! People used to smoke in hospitals! Why are companies that harm the health of Americans allowed to prosper? MONEY! Companies drive this country unfortunately and it is the saddest thing ever.

Personal experience- My aunt had fallen, felt dizzy and was slurring her speech and acting confused and my uncle took her to the hospital. They didn't know what was wrong with her. She later found out through a friend of hers (she's a nurse) who was also a nurse who had also gotten a degree in natural medicine that she had aspartame poisoning. I was currently depressed. After this, she stopped aspartame and her problems went away. I stopped aspartame and my depression greatly improved. We all avoid aspartame in my family.

It has been linked to depression, headaches, MS, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc. Last October there was an article abt it in Oxygen magazine. While one can will not kill you, anything that builds up chemicals in your brain or can make a human do what my aunt did cannot be healthy! Some people drink liters a day!

If you feel 100 % perfectly healthy drinking it and do not believe all of these things, that's fine, but if you have someof the problems above, try eliminating aspartame for 60 days and see if it clears up. Several friends of mine have tried it, and they can vouch for it, too. I am sorry if my strong opinions offend, but I would not want anyone to suffer the way my aunt did. In my heart of hearts I do not believe my aunt, myself and the others that post on the online support group to be ".000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 % of the population". and what I said about aspartame being the number one source of FDA complaints is a fact, not an opinion.

I used to consume a lot of aspartame too, and it was hard to cut back until I could see my health improving. Please do not be upset with me if you disagree with this because I truly am just looking out for your health. I wish you all the best!

Caffeine gives me headaches and shakes if too much is consumed. I liked the Coke zero but it does have caffeine in it. I wish they would carry the caffeine free at WDW.

Wow, :guilty: I'm sorry I didn't mean to start anything. I can drink Coke Zero with no side effect (I'm sorry for those who get sick from Aspartame). I just really like this better than Diet Coke, and I was hoping it was on the parks or resorts. I didn't mean to start a fight :guilty: . If they don't have it, I was planning on buying some from here and bringing it down for the room.

Again, I'm sorry for the fight, was just a question. Again, I apologize if I offended anyone.

Chris
