Pepsi girl all the way EXCEPT when it comes to diet. I hate diet Pepsi and always prefer diet coke.
When we are at WDW one of the reasons, other then character outlet, and my kids weird obsession for Cici's, is my 1 regular Pepsi a day requirement! If I don't have my 1 regular Pepsi a day my family can't live with me!
I don't drink much soda, but I do like Pepsi, and I really like Pepsi Throwback to any of it. BUT, if we're talking recreational drinks, Rum & Coke is always good.
"Pepsi is funding the research and development, and paying royalties to Senomyx, which uses HEK-293 (human embryonic kidney cells) to produce flavor enhancers for Pepsi beverages.
Using isolated human taste receptors we created proprietary taste receptor-based assay systems that provide a biochemical or electronic readout when a flavor ingredient interacts with the receptor, says the Senomyx website.
What they do not tell the public is that they are using HEK 293 human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce those receptors, stated Debi Vinnedge, President for CGL, the watch dog group that has been monitoring the use of aborted fetal material in medical products and cosmetics for years."
I said Coke, but in my case I only drink diet and I find Diet Coke addictive where as I find Diet Pepsi barely palatable. Pepsi One is better, but IMHO no other diet cola compares with Diet Coke.
Ditto. Diet Coke it is. Although if I HAD to pick Coke or Pepsi (full sugar) I'd go with Pepsi. But I HATE diet Pepsi. Don't like Coke Zero either. Tastes too much like Coke
I myself prefer pepsi, however 90% of restaurants only have coke, or diet coke, so thats what I end up drinking. Ill drink either on, but I prefer Pepsi.
I read it. I just don't understand your position, since the human tissue being researched was already dead. I see it akin to doing cadaver research. From the article, it didn't appear that Pepsi was encouraging abortion or even taking a political stand at all.

I'm pretty hard conservative on the subject, I just don't believe they should even be grown outside the womb, but even the thought of them using part of what could have been a possible life for tasting research just seems very gross and weird to me.
It's kind of the same debate going with the stem cell research......which I don't agree with either, but at least in that instance they are trying to find a cure for something.....
I didn't think Pepsi was encouraging abortion, but until they get a different research company or their research company changes their practices, I can't support their products
