I would appreciate any input. I have been saving tons of 12pk box tops and bottle caps by the dozens (maybe hundreds). So I finally settle down to start entering the codes and find out that I have met the "max" for the week. How does this work? I always thought that you could enter 10 codes per day, but it seems now that I could only enter 12 codes per week. Any suggestions? Would it be of any use to set up another reward account for DH so he too can earn rewards or is it always better to keep it all in one account. Thanks for any help. (BTW my enter/return key on the computer doesn't work so everything is lumped into on paragraph....frustrating)

They changed the rules. Now you can only earn 120 points in a week. They say it is to make it better for the consumer :confused3, but since we almost always buy 12-packs, now I can enter 12 codes instead of 70 per week. Not sure how that is supposed to be better! (I never entered 70 per week, but I have been known to let stacks accumulate by the computer.) It might be to prevent people who would enter 10 codes on double points day before noon, then ten codes after, even though it said ten per day.

A little while back they changed the limits to 120 points per week. I don't know what the regulations are but if they allow more than one account per household, I would do that if you have a few thousand points to enter.

It's really irritating that they changed the rules. I also don't see how it benefits the consumer. It's a lot harder to accumulate points for rewards now.

You should look at what type of reward you want to use your points on. If you are trying for one of the bigger rewards, you should keep all your points on one account. But if you are going to use the points on the lower rewards, then two accounts would allow you to input your points faster and buy your rewards.

The 120 limit does kind of stink but I think they did it to prevent a small number of people from getting all the big rewards. For example, the people who fill vending machines could easily enter 100 points/day (Yes, I saw one pulling off the codes before dumping the cartons). At the end of the week they'd have 700 points and at the end of a month they'd have over 3,000.

I agree with pp look at the rewards and decide what you want to get. Free photos or photobooks, definitely go with two accounts as these are limited to x number of redemptions per year. (the books are two but I think the photos are 4). If you want magazines, then two accounts would be fine. If you want something big like the cookware just keep entering your codes slow and steady. I've only ever once missed out on something big and that was on a day that they had the double points entry.

I've gotten to the point that I just get the little stuff because it's actually more cost effective - a magazine subscription is worth about $12 and is between 100 and 300 points and the snapfish book is worth $20 for 285 points, but an oxo teakettle is 1400 points but only worth $35.:confused3 (Although at one point 250 points you could get a T-shirt and for 2,000 points you could get a free vacation so what happened there I don't know).

What is double points day and how do you find out when it is?

Oh geez, I procrastinated too long too. I've got three shoeboxes full of these that DD19 keeps promising to enter for me. We'll never get all those done with a limit of 120 a week... though actually, since she hasn't entered one yet I'm guessing it won't affect us for another hundred years or so...:lmao:

Maybe I'll mosey on over to see if anybody's buying them on ebay...

And just to throw another wrench into the works, if you have really old codes (from a year or so ago) they no longer work. You'll get an error message that your code is too long.

Sometimes Coke will send out an e-mail saying you can get double points on a certain day for a certain product or type of product. They've had double points on 12-packs, for instance, but I have also seen double points on Vault (their energy drink, I think).
