Coin presses?

I am packing our pennies and quarters for the penny presses. Has anyone been recently and can tell me if they are $.50 or $.75?

The penny presses are .50, but they have some dime and quarter presses that cost .75 and 1.00.

DW likes to collect them also, so far she has an album with over 150+ in it, from whereever we travel.

.50...we are rolling quarters and pennies and bringing them with us...just to keep organized...for each child, DD12 and DS2

EEK! I didn't know about these. I've already filled my M&M containers with alternating quarters/pennies, and just quarters. How much are the dime ones? Do they have a pressed coin book for all 3? Thanks. (we leave in 21 hours )

I had no idea about the dimes and quarters...how do you find those machines...are there lots of them like the penny ones??? I am going to have to sort through the extra change jar to find dimes...I do not think we will invest in the quarters...

If you look on the collectors board there is a thread about pressed coins with a link to all the machines @ WDW. I've never seen dime ones @ WDW or the link, but we're leaving for the world tomorrow so I'll keep an eye out.

The pressed pennies are $.50 and the quarters are $1.00 (plus the penny or quarter to be pressed). I have seen only one machine that was $.75, but I don't remember if it was a penny or quarter.

I have never seen a dime machine, and there is not one listed on this list, which I have found to be pretty accurate in the past.

My hint is to find a "set" or a character and collect all of that set or character. It makes it more fun. Also, don't forget to get a pressed coin book to store your coins in.

Just a tip about the pressed coins adventure!
On our last trip, we filled empty Mini M&M'stubes (3...1 for each kid) with our quarters and pennies. They have a lid and each kiddo had their own color so we knew whose was whose!
Worked out great! Was easier then searching for coins in a bag!

I didn't think DD4 would care about these, but she and her dad made one while we were at a museum last week, and I think she's hooked. Guess I'll just have to eat some M&Ms so I can use the tube!

I have already ordered pressed penny books for each kiddo and I have been saving "good" pennies and quarters for each kid. I have a roll of quarters for each, so far and 2 rolls of pennies...that should be plenty! They are both getting the PPBooks in their Welcome Gift Basket "from Mickey" when we get to the GF!
