Coffeemakers at BWV

Hi to all.......

Under the 30 day mark!!! Wooooowee...........

We will be staying at Saratoga Springs for 2 nights in a studio then moving onto the Boardwalk in a 2 bdr for 6 nights!!!!

Thinking about bringing coffee filter packs and was wondering if anyone knows how many cups the coffeemaker makes in each of these places.

For the 2 bedroom at the BWV, you will have the larger (10 -12 cup) coffeemakers. You'll need the basket - type filters (similar to Mr. Coffee brand).

Some people prefer the coffee/filter combinations - they work well. However, we (well, OK, it's mainly me who cares about the coffee in our family, LOL) prefer to bring along Caribou coffee and separate filters. Love sipping coffee early in the mornig on the balcony while everyone else is sleeping.

The "standard" studio coffeemakers are the 4 cup size. However, if you need/want the larger size, all you have to do is give Housekeeping a call. They will bring you a larger one. Not a problem. Sometimes you will find the larger size already in the room.

I've only stayed in 1BDRMs at BWV and here's what I do. I buy those coffee/filter combos (you know -- the coffee is sealed inside a filter) and use two at a time to make a full pot. Seems to work.

FYI.. BWV coffee makers use the flat bottomed filters, not the cones.

We stop at a supermarket (Publix) on our way from the airport to BWV. By the end of the week, we've used almost the entire package.

If you don't rent a car, you could try the Goodings supermarket. I can't remember exactly where it is, but I think it's in walking distance from Downtown Disney.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I'm sure if you posted a question about here which supermarkets are a walkable distance you'd get an answer pretty quickly.

We will have transportation for the entire week so going to Publix is not an issue.......Looking to go there or Super Wal-Mart.

Question is - Do the grocery stores sell the combo filter/coffee packs? Or do I have to order them online?

Yes, the supermarkets sell the combo coffee/filter packs. Maxwell House, I remember for sure, because I have bought it, and maybe others. I remember the resort general stores selling these also.
