Contemporary Resort - coffee bar in the lobby
Coronada Springs Resort - Counter
Polynesian resort - Kona Cafe you can either buy in the restaurant or to take away at the Kona Isle next door - and O'hanas
Swan/Dolphin hotel - Starbucks
Animal Kingdom Lodge - Boma

At Theme Parks -
Animal Kingdom Park - Right before entering the AK gate...when walking up WAY over to the far right (near the souvenir stands) is a GREAT coffee stand. In Africa they have another one of these coffee stands. Also at their Rainforest Cafe. Also at McDonalds.
Epcot - right before you come to Mexico (from Future world). There is another in America.
Hollywood Studios - The Writers Stop

Other locales:
DTD - Ghirardelli
Starbucks at the Prime outlet mall - 5 min. from DTD (really need a car)

TIPS -
If you can't use your DDP snack credits for coffee, you know it's good coffee!
Bring your own 4-cup coffee filters, disposable travel cups w/lids, and sugar/splenda minis from home then buy a small carton of 1/2 and 1/2 in the gift shop.

I have only been to WDW once, in 2006. DH, DS and I are headed back this year! Woo-hoo! So, please, please tell me where I can find some GOOD coffee! The stuff at the resort I didn't mind, as I'll drink anything that even closely resembles coffee, but I'm looking for some mouth-melting delicious liquid!

Ahhh, the joys of Nescafe.

I'm not sure where you're staying, but there's a coffee kiosk at the Poly that has good coffee. The quick service counter at the Coronado Springs Resort apparently also has non-Nescafe. One of my friends that was staying with us there last week went down to the lobby in search of real coffee and reported that when asked, the cast member said, "No, is not Nescafe .... is Italian blend!" It was pretty good.

I have seen people leaving the Swan/Dolphin with Starbucks cups. Not sure if there is an actual kiosk/store or if it from their room???

Last trip I bought packaged Kona coffee at the Poly(well, the blend-the 100% Kona would be a big splurge) and made it in my in room coffee pot every morning-mmmmm. I brought coffee filters, disposable travel cups w/lids, and splenda minis with me from home. I bought a small carton of 1/2 and 1/2 in the WL gift shop. After our Dec. '06 trip I don't bother with the Nescafe anymore-it's a waste of my money to even order it-I can hardly choke it down!

As far as going out and getting coffee-Kona at the Poly, Boma at AKL has "real" coffee-I believe, The Writers Stop in the Studios does too, I think...

Coffee kiosk at Poly = coffee bar at Kona. To clarify, they are the same thing. Second floor of GCH on monorail station side, adjacent to Kona Cafe. I second...third...fourth the nomination of the pressed pot. Worth having breakfast at Kona for that (Tonga Toast isn't terrible, either).

ETA: When we stay at the Poly, we always grab our coffee before heading out. One more reason to stay there!

Am I right in thinking that the rooms in POP don't have coffee pots? We're staying there for the first time, and I'm totally thinking about bringing my french press and coffee from home. (We're coffee snobs.)

We love Kona cafe for breakfast as well as just the coffee. If u don't have time to stop though the Kona Isle does a selection of pastries to go with your take out coffee.

I am excited to hear there is good coffee available at the Poly and the AKL as those are the two places we are staying on the next trip. (Must be providence). Anyway, I like lots of coffee so I will be taking coffee and REAL cream with me to make in the room. Do all rooms have coffee pots? If so, what type of filters do they take? Are they all the same? I would consider bringing my own coffee pot, but I'd rather not if one is provided.

One more question, is there anyplace to get coffee at the parks? I like to have coffee in the afternoon to keep myself in top form. I know there is a kiosk in Epcot on the way to WS (to the left if I remember) that had frozen coffee drinks of some type.

Are you a starbucks person or a dunkin donuts person. I personally go for dunkins and I love love love the coffee at Kona. That being said you can't pay me to drink that stuff from a starbuck kiosk.

If you have breakfast at the Kona Cafe, order a pressed pot of Kona Coffee. If you have breakfast at Boma, order a pressed pot of Kenyan Coffee. Both of these coffees are excellent.

Just got back last week and i love my coffee...

While eating breakfast at Ohana's I was able to order the wonderful Kona coffee ... an entire pot for $8. I guess they just run over to grab a pot and bring it to our table

There is a seperate company that runs some of the coffee stands in the park. I talked to a lady who is owner or management... heck someone important for thos coffee stands. She was gathering info from the employees when I was standing in line.

I asked the CM if the stuff they were selling was Nescafe. The lady overheard me and laughed. She said it was the #1 complaint she has heard... the Disney coffee STINKS.
She told me the brand of coffee they sell but I don't remember it ...maybe someone else will but it is an import and YUMMY.

The other people standing in line with me (complete strangers) all got a good laugh over the Disney Coffee and we were too busy complaining to her about how horrid it was I didn't get the name of the company (she said it but I am very forgetfull) who owns the coffee stands in the parks.

She said they were in the works of bringing more of their coffee stands to the parks... I did get that much

You can't use your snack credits for this coffee... I think that's the big clue, if you can't use snack credits ... you know its good coffee

Yup, no machine in the rooms. We brought our own.

On a slightly different note, and assuming you have a car there is a McDonalds on property and their NEW coffee is pretty darn good.....better then Nescafe.

We also ate at Rainforest (AK) and I thought the coffee there was good. Really liked having it in a ceramic mug! Don't know why but it always tastes better in a mug.
