Coffee Talk???

Coffee & Filters for the resort (WL) coffeemakers? I understand "Mousekeeping" (I luv that) can provide the maker? But do I buy the coffee from the gift shop? I would just bring some from home...Anyone know are they baskets or cone filters?? 4 cup or 10 cup??

Hi Ethelina -

I will share with you that last year at POFQ, we had a coffeemaker - as I recall it was a 4 cup basket-thingy - I brought the small filters as well as a ziplock full of coffee from home. Someone else can possibly do better describing the coffeemakers at WL - I didn't get one. DO bring your own from home, Merchantile is way expensive. Just one of those things that's easy enough to bring.

The one I got from the Poly and the CBR were the Westinghouse four cup brewing system. I usually bring the Maxwell house filter paket but I think the small basket type filters are the ones that fit this system.

I will bring my own from home. I had a hunch it was probably overpriced in the gift shop. There's nothing like a good cup of joe in the morning!!

Get those packs that you can get at the grocery store. It's coffee sealed into a filter, I think it brews 4 cups. Then you don't have to worry about measuring the coffee and it's no mess just toss the hole filter pack away, no spilled grounds. Easier to pack, too.

Oh, I like that idea about coffee already in the filters!! I will do exactly that. In fact, a cup of coffee sounds great right now! Thanks!!
