Coffee served on DCL?

It's still Joffrey's on the Wonder (just got off the ship today- can't find a sad/crying emoticon but I'd insert that here if I could).

I guess the replies here go to show that coffee preferences are very individual... DH and I think it tastes like instant coffee- it has (to us) a very unnatural taste. We couldn't take it anymore, and tried an Americano from the Cove, but it wasn't much better. (We did like the cappuccino's at the Cove but didn't get them often cause we're cheap).

Joffrey's is drinkable w/ a lot of cream and sugar, but I may just have to invest in a portable french press for next time...

It's under the "Smilies" tab (when you click on the little smilie in the tool bar) second row, a bit more than halfway across.

We bring a French Coffee Press and our own coffee.

I often travel with a small electric kettle, one of those Melitta cones that sits on a coffee mug, filters, and a bag of coffee. Sometimes I also pack a mug, although often I buy one at my destination.

We were on the Magic on the Baltic Cruise July 22, 2015; and the coffee was horrible. DH and I kept visiting the Cove.

Next time we are bringing our own coffee packets.

We were just on the Fantasy last month. The coffee in Cabanas was terrible* but seemed much better in the MDRs. We visited Cove Cafe and Vista Cafe a LOT.


*I came prepared with extra paper for my comment card (why do they only give you 2 lines for additional comment/to recognize CMs?!)...DCL got an earful (paperful?) from me concerning my thoughts on their awful coffee in Cabanas.

Funny, same cruise, ( hello) MDR coffee and Room service was fine to me, I do ask for decaf, We used Cove cafe a lot as for concierge standard drinks there were free.

I was also on the Baltic cruise and agree with abayaflowers. The coffee was dreadful. We went to the Cove Cafe every morning after breakfast on sea days. We found good coffee in port. We had a really good cup at the Viking museum in Copenhagen. We had an Espresso at The Hermitage and it was just ok. DH and I were so happy when we arrived home and had a "real" cup from our Nespresso.

They are very good up to Starbucks or Costa standards.

To be honest I go with the cocktail of the day each day, the Bahama mumma and Piña colada are good, In Cove cafe, the Cafe Toledo is very good.

They're good. Make sure you get a "fanatic" card - buy 5 drinks and your 6th is free.
