I am a fan of coffee - not huge but pretty big - really like it in the morning.

I have read something about being able to request coffee makers in your room and I have read about bringing your own coffee maker.

I would rather not bring my own if I can avoid it.

We will be staying at POFQ - could anyone tell me if I can leave my coffee maker at home and still get my fix early in the room?

Or will I have to buy a mug and trek downstairs in my mumu??
:jester:

Thanks for you help

I forget where, but I read on another thread that someone bought a cheap....10-20 dollar coffee maker, mailed it to themselves @ Disney then left it in the room when they left. That sounded like an awesome idea to me.

That is a good idea - I'll bet I could get myself a new one and send my old one down!!!

That would be one way to upgrade my coffee machine:p :p

Thanks for the idea

The moderates have coffee machines, or you can call and request one if they don't have it in the room.

I always bring my own coffee and filters.

One trip I stayed at POP (no coffeemakers) and bought a $7 12 cup machine at Target. Then I posted over on the budget board, and found someone checking in the day I left who wanted it - very easy way to dispose of it!

:D

We stayed at POFQ in August. The rooms have a 4 cup coffeemaker. Each day a Decaf and a Regular packet was left in the room. The packets have powdered creamer, stirrers, sugar and coffee that is enclosed in the filter.

It was so nice to have the coffee ready when I came out of the shower. I don't like powdered creamer, so I always took a few creamers from the food court and put them in the room refrigerator.

for letting me know - I am so excited that it will be one less thing for me to think about!!!

Thank you!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

BTW -- How did you like the POFQ? Is it as nice and fun as it looks in the pictures? Anything I should know about?

Thank you for any info you can give.

We really liked POFQ and will be staying there again over the 4th of July.

The only complaint we had was the food court and I use the word complaint loosely. As compared with the food courts in the other resorts the food choices are very limited. For example the only salad was a caesar salad. A tossed or chef salad would have been nice.

We usually eat in the parks, but the boys always have room for a quick snack. The pizza was good. We walked to Dixie and snacked there several times. The walk was enjoyable or you can take the boat.

The boys liked the pool and cooled off there in the afternoons.

Any specific questions, feel free to ask.

Oh, our rooms were very comfortable and the boys had towel animals every day.

It will be as nice as I dream it will -

and I am excited to hear about the towel animals :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I am looking forward to those!!! I hope this trip goes so well DH wants to go back - right now he is so "blah" about it

Thanks again - I will let you know if I can think of anything

I appreciate your help

I'm sure you'll have a magical trip.

We took that "once in a lifetime trip" back in 1996. Now we go just about every year for 15 days.

I think I just noticed that you had a fridge in your room. - Did you rent one or do they come with the rooms now?

Thanks again

There has been a policy change and the rooms will all have refrigerators without a charge. If your room dooesn't have one, just call and one will be delivered.
