My friend is a coffee snob, and I do have some excellent coffee on hand. Do they have drip coffee makers, Keurigs, other(?) where we can bring our own coffee, or are the pots strictly coffee pod types?

Great idea! I can heat water in the pot, and use the pour over. Thank you!

Just confirm, because I have heard some people call K-Cups "pods" as well, these are the pods that look like a small coffee pillow of filter and grounds. I also told a family member about the pods and they were expecting a Nespresso style "pod".

You rip them out of the Joffery's foil packaging, place them in the slide-out tray, and then pour your water in the reservoir. The water gets made hot and dripped over in about 2 or 3 minutes.
I have read other forums that it is suggested to make your own. Use a fillable tea bag that folds over. Put a tablespoon of coffee in and fold over the tea bag. Place in the pod holder tray.

Or you can purchase a similar style made for coffee (but these seem rather big):

No experience with that myself. Just me doing some reading...!

I know this ended up being about FQ but for any reading along we just checked out of GDT and our room had a full size, not single cup, Keurig
