Coffee Pod help

The pods in my AoA suite were the Cuisinart brand pods. Not bad, but not great. I brought some Melitta pods with me, and those worked great in the machine. I like a nice, strong cup of coffee. The Melitta pods are available through Garden Grocer, too.

Just my personal opinion here....... when we stayed at the Yacht Club a couple of weeks ago, we made coffee with the pods our first morning and it was absolutely disgusting! One sip, and we threw it out. Not sure why it was so bad, but I'm guessing that it may have been a combination of the coffee pods and all the Florida water that past guests used in the machine. We used bottled water, so it wasn't the water. We are definitely not "coffee snobs", but that was the worst coffee I've ever had in a Disney hotel.

Hmmm, I wonder if it could have been the water. I'm not a coffee snob either although I don't like weak 7-11 coffee After all the feedback, I decided to try the coffee in the room, but it sounds like I need to stay away from the coffee in the food court.

Last week at POFQ I made coffee in the room twice, once on the first morning with the packet of creamer and I did not like it. I then tried it again a few days later with the non-dairy creamer cups from the food court, and again I did not like it at all. Believe it or not I actually preferred the Nescafe from the food court to the coffee from the room. Luckily we had mugs with the free dining plan.

We did not have tea bags or mugs in our room, but there were styrofoam cups and the coffee lids from the food court fit them. Our room was realclose to the food court, so I would fill our mugs in the morning and then dump them into the cups from the room so that we could take them to the bus stop with us.
