That's odd, she'd said she'd heard from you. I'd post on her wall and ask about the email as she's really good and sounds like something may have happened.

It sounds unlike her. She had posted on FB to please use the regular email as the FB one was being really slow but the fact that she hasn't responded at all would really bug me too. Makes me sad though. I do know she has a vacation coming up, the dates are on her FB but I didn't think it was till the end of the month.

Yep, afternoon now. The best view is from my bedroom window, where you can get a great mountain shot if the haze cooperates. It's more of a peek from the front porch but it is still a very nice way to start the day! And try to get motivated to hit the gym. Which we did and now it's time to clean house. UGH!

Yeah, she responded briefly to my first FB message asking if I needed references. I said I didn't and explained what I was looking for. Then you gave me her email so I wrote there too and I haven't heard a word on either. It's been over a week if not more.

I was hoping to have some little gift bags for the kids upon arrival which GG or WeGo can't help me with but I can always go through Disney for that. I also wanted a custom cake for Chloe and read Publix has a good bakery.

I used Memories by Betsy for some gift baskets for my kids a few years ago, they were completely customizable and were delivered directly to our room at the resort. She was very easy to work with!

I do know she's been busy, her business has exploded and she's got a newborn but still, an email response shouldn't slip or take that long even if it's just to give an update as to when she could provide that info.

She does gift bags, that much I know for sure. Quite a lot of them. I've heard the same thing about the Publix bakery. I did a custom cake through Disney and it was Amazing but...pricey. Back in 2009 I made the kids gift bags myself and just shipped them to the resort. LOL! But it worked out great. I made custom coffee cups for each person, sent it ahead and then we used them all week.

I love 50's PTC but would pick Olivia's over it more often than not. It's about as night and day from PTC as could be. From crazy harassing and long waits and crowds, to total laid back yumminess. Much more relaxing that's for sure.

Although I do love that tuna noodle casserole at PTC! I may try to go there on our big family trip...though that's a good 17 months away.

I absolutely adored OKW, would be happy staying there again any time. It was fun to try 3 different DVC resorts in one trip and be able to really get a feel for the differences and see what we liked, didn't like etc. The cruise too was a totally different experience than the 7 night Alaska on the Wonder so that was pretty neat to compare as well.

I am glad we had the longer one first, while the short one is good I think for people to see if they like cruising, it is hard to get your bearings and having done a longer one, it was a lot faster for us and as a result, we got more out of the shorter one than we might have otherwise.

The Dream is a beauty that's for sure.

Kelly emailed me back as did Betsy. I'm going to do my gifts through Betsy and groceries and cake through Kelly. We're working out prices and options now. I'm sooooo excited. I know that means two delivery fees......not stoked about that.

Are you doing the gifts at THV and grocery delivery for AKV? I guess either way that might mean 2 delivery fees, bummer! Very cool things are working out!!!

I've always thought about a gift upon arrival and then cheap out. LOL! So I pack or ship my own, but have thought how neat it would be to have it there. When we did the cake for Mary Ellen it was so neat to have it in the room when we came back! And it was cool on the cruise for K...which you'll see when we get to that part of the TR.
