Does any one know what type of coffee is used in the coffee maker K-cups or pods? We drink a few cups of coffee every morning and was wondering what to bring.

Emeril big easy bold.:thumbsup2

Sorry forgot to add k-cups

FWIW, a nice note and a fiver guarantee us as much coffee as we can drink when we're staying in hotels...no need to bring down what they're offering you on the house!

Thanks for the response. I will still bring some because we usually drink flavored coffee.:worship:

i get the different coffee pods from the staff and it doesn't involve $5....

Same here. And you'll get even more just for asking in any case.

last year i only wanted the bold, regular coffee pods.
i had the employee take the tea, and fruited/ flavored pods and decaf away.

she would give me 15 pods a day then during my stay.
i'm a coffee addict.

tipping is not required.
it's part of their job.

they replenish all the pods in every room daily.

Here was the setup in our room:

ry%3D400

It had Emeril regular and decaf, Celestial Seasonings black tea, Green tea, and a hot cocoa.

advice to those that use the keurig.

run regular water through it before you use a pod.

last year mine had not been cleaned out and it was gunky so i ran water thru it twice before using it to make coffee.

it's just like at home, things clog up after heavy usage.
wasn't a complaint on my part with the keurig.
i made sure it ran clean water before making my coffee.

We do this twice and you will be amazed how the water looks.:scared1:

Do they charge your room for each k-cup you use? Or is it free?

it is all free.....

if you ever run out and it is like, midnight, use the phone in your room and call star service.
they will have someone bring the pod to you then.

somedays i drink 19 cups of coffee.
i'm an addict.

Holy crap -- for reals???

seriously, yes.

at home i always have 2.5 pots of coffee a day.
i use a Bunn coffee maker. it holds enough for 10 cups.
outside weather isn't an issue for my coffee drinking.

it is 9:30 pm now and i just finished 3 cups of coffee in the last hour.

it doesn't bother my sleeping.....

my maternal unit started me on coffee when i was about 11.
i would complain i couldn't wake up and go to school........

so she made me coffee.
black.
never missed school after i had coffee.

when i stay onsite, i usually have a couple of cups of coffee around midnight in the room.......

i wasn't kidding when i said i am a coffee addict.

my one down fall in staying at the motherland resorts for a week before i go to the darkside resorts for over a week stay............

the coffee they serve at the resorts is not g.o.o.d coffee.
but i drink it for the caffeine.......

i never get used to it.
usually i have to hit kona cafe for a pot of pressed coffee every few days...
