My DH and I will be staying for the 1st time at our new SSR home away from home in 29 days!!:cool1:

We are almost all packed up with what we want to ship down for our owner's locker, but don't know what kind of coffee filters the coffee makers at SSR uses? I know we get a starter pack, but I'm not sure that will be enough to last us the week? Can anyone help us out?

The regular round ones....not the cone. Flat bottom. Full size coffee pot.
Happy planning:goodvibes You'll love SSR:goodvibes

On that note - are there usually exta filters leftover from prior guests in your experiences, or do you usually need to buy some?

I've never found any from prior guests. I'd think they'd be removed by housekeeping. I put a bunch of filters in a ziplok, flatten them out and toss them in my luggage - with a bag of Starbucks. On our last trip, we bought Kona coffee at the Poly after we got there. The one-pot package they provide in the villa is pretty awful.

You do exactly what we do - flatten out the basket filters, pack them in a baggie and bring a fresh big bag of Starbucks fine grind with us!

Yes, the coffee provided is terrible (aside from being too small a quantity for anyone). :crazy2:

Thanks so much for your replies!:thumbsup2 I knew you guys would be of help!! I personally don't drink coffee, only tea (whick I'll be bringing my Tzao Calm) by DH will be bringing along some fresh ground organic roast he gets from a local farmer's market here. he loves it! (We heard the coffee they provide is rather :scared: )

I have one of those gold reusable mesh coffee filters. We leave it in our Disney box at home. When we get an owners locker (maybe next trip), we will leave the coffee filter in it.
