Coffee/coffeemaker Question

We're staying at POFQ in April and I have a question about the coffee and coffee maker in the room. DH must have his Starbucks in the morning, so I need to pack his own coffee.

Does the coffee kit provided by POFQ include a coffee filter or is it one of those individual sealed filter/coffee things? What size coffee filters would I need to bring? (I'm assuming small, but would love to know for certain.) Also, are there disposable coffee cups and lids provided? If so, what size?

It would definitely make my life easier if WDW would get a deal going with one of the gourmet coffee suppliers so DH could just pick up a decent cup of coffee at the park!

Thanks for your help!

They are the filter packs, so you need to bring your own--pretty sure they are 4 cup Mr. Coffee types.

They provide cups, no lids that I recall, but it's been many years. I imagine you could get a lid from the food for court for the asking.

I stayed at POFQ in February and yes they are the prepackaged coffee and filters together as mentioned above. On your way to the room, either stop at the food court and pick up some lids, or buy the refillable travel mug (they do have two styles, one looks more like a traveling coffee mug) and kill two birds with one stone and use that for morning coffee.

You have to bring your own filters. I just used my reg. filters from home, if you fold one into quarters and tear off about 1/2 inch from the top it will fit nicely.

Basket or cone type filters?

Maybe I can avoid bringing my travel coffee maker for once.

The coffee maker they had at CBR used the basket type filter - it was a Mr. Coffee 4 cup maker. A little mini version of the regular Mr. Coffee

Thanks so much for the replies. DH does love his morning coffee!

Here's a photo of the coffee maker that was in my PO-FQ room last July: click here. I don't drink coffee so all I have to share is the photo.
