I'm not sure about the first part of the question, but I believe every 'non-complimentary' beverage has an auto-gratuity added.

I've never asked, but it's also never been offered. I guess it's worth asking. If you don't ask, they can't say yes!

I'm just glad they removed the verbiage from the card that it's limited to one particular sailing. On a shorter cruise, I don't always fill mine up and like to bring it back next time.

AFAIK, No. You have to purchase it in the Cove Cafe to get the card stamped.

Previously, yes. Then about a year ago they changed it and the back of the cards had some asterisk about this sailing only. Now, apparently, the new cards have removed that. I haven't confirmed as we haven't sailed since they took it off again, but that's what I understand.

When they put that on there, I admit, it definitely affected our willingness to purchase fancy coffee and I provided feedback as such. I guess I wasn't the only one.
