Coffee at the Contemporary?? Please help!

We arrive in only 4 days--yea!--and my DH wants to know about coffee!!! He has gotten it at the Kona coffee bar at the Poly, but if memory serves me correct (sorry, couldn't resist the "Iron Chef" reference) I read something on these boards about a coffee bar in the Contemporary.

Does anyone know anything about this? Where is it located?

If I remember right, the coffee bar is on the first floor, same as the front desk. Dh got coffee there a few mornings and said it was pretty good. I didn't have any, so I can't vouch for how good it is.

I believe there is a coffee maker in the room also. We always bring a small pouch of coffee from home and just brew up a pot in the morning when we get up. No walking anywhere to get coffee, and the quality is more or less what we are used to.

The coffee bar for the Contemporary is on the 1st floor to the left just before the doors you go out for the bus shelter.

It's pretty good coffee! I went there almost every day last trip. They also have some fruit and really good cookies and muffins.

They supply the coffee pouches also (reg and decaf). At least they did at the Poly. I'm assuming CR is the same.

The coffee bar in the CR is on the first floor around the corner from the elevators. DH loved the cappucino and there was a pretty good selection of other hot drinks and breakfast pastries.

We were very happy to see that the CR has coffee makers. I will admit that I am a bit of a coffee snob and I must start my morning with Starbucks so I was thrilled to find that Starbucks has travel filter packs now-- they are just like the little packets the hotels give you but with Starbucks coffee. So far they only offer Breakfast blend (we prefer the darker roasts) but I just add 3 cups of water instead of 4 and that works just fine for us.
