Coffee at Kona Cafe

Hey everyone! Spur of the moment trip planned for this weekend. 1 night at Poly (6/3), just to get away. Very excited.

Having breakfast at Kona on Sunday morning, first time.

Does Kona Cafe have real coffee, or is it like the other junk on the rest of the property? Also, is the pressed coffee caraffe any better? Thanks for the replies.

It is Kona Coffe But only at the Kona Cafe, the Cart upsatirs and Ohana's --in the morning-- It is the only resort/place at Disney-- Get the press pot if you are eating at Kona Cafe

Coffee at the Cafe is good, real coffee. Not exactly what you'll find at counter service in Disney. Enjoy! It's a great place for lunch.

I'm an espresso girl. Can't make it through the day without a latte. Not the whipped creamy stuff, but good espresso w/steamed milk. Most American coffee really disturbs my stomach, since I'm drinking more coffee than milk. If I have regular, American coffee, I have to use half-n-half, or forget it.

HOWEVER....the Kona press-pot is absolutely the best coffee I've ever had, in my life, hands down. I've had coffee in many countries, and it's wonderful, but there's something about that Kona press-pot. Don't get the Kona blend - spring for the pot. You will not be disappointed!

We'll be there Sunday morning, June 11 - can't wait!!!!

How much is the pressed pot? Since it will just be myself and my son, I'm not sure if I should go for the pot or not. I absolutely LOVE Kona coffee. I always request a bag when someone I know goes to Hawaii. So I know I would love this coffee, but I'm just not sure about the expense.

The pot is $7.49 and well worth it if it's real Kona coffee. I'm not sure as I've not tried it there before.

However, if you do want to pick some up and you have transportation while in Orlando, you can pick up a bag at Hilo Hattie's at Festival Bay on I-Drive.
