Coffee as refill?

Do they allow you to get coffee as your drink refill? I like to have a cup of joe with my dessert.

I've done this when I eat at places like Chili's, and since most of the time coffee and soda are priced the same, the servers don't have a problem with it.

What a good point! :thumbsup2 I've never thought of doing that, but if its possible, I'd do the same thing. I always like to finish up a meal with coffee. I thought I'd have to use my snack credit on it after dinner. Hope someone knows this! It could save my snacks!

This is one of those "depends on the waiter...but don't count on it" things. Most restaurants consider coffee a separate drink and charge an additional fee if coffee is wanted with dessert after having a soft drink with dinner. I have only ever ONCE had them give it to me as a free "refill."

As far as using a snack credit for coffee, i assume you mean to buy it at a CS place after you leave the restaurant. TS restaurants are not equipped to charge snack credits for anything.

Hopw that helps somehow!

Yes, I was intending, if need be, to get my coffee as a snack credit outside of TS.

You can always order water (with or w/o lemon) as your cold beverage during the meal, since even at Disney tap water is free. Then order your coffee with dessert. I think water goes better when you're eating anyways. I've ordered water as my beverage during a meal even with the DDP.
