I know this is a kind of weird question but does anyone drink chai? I have been looking and I can't find that perfect chai. Or if anybody has any good coffee ideas I would love them.

I love Chai! It is a great pick me up around 3PM at work. The best Chai is made fresh (not powdered mixes). I use Stash Tea (they have a website--stash.com, I think), Splenda or honey, and warm milk (fat-free half & half is good too). Yum!

I love Chai! A few companies make Chai in individual tea bags so I can have a Chai latte whenever I want one without spending $3.50 a pop for one.

Everyone that drinks my coffee loves it. I grind my own Starbucks original blend whole beans just before brewing. Then I lighten it with heavy whipping cream. It's the richest cup of coffee you'll ever want to taste. I just had a cup.
I'm on Atkins so I'm not worried about the heavy cream, it's allowed.

The only thing I drink is Folgers - high test! :teeth:

I've never had Chai.

I love Millstone's Foglifter. I've got one of my coworkers hooked on it too.:teeth: I have another brand I like better, but I'm out of it right now.

try this mix at home, I really like it!!

"Instant Chai tea mix. You can spice it up even further by adding 1 teaspoon nutmeg and allspice, and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper."

1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer
1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 In a large bowl, combine milk powder, non-dairy creamer, vanilla flavored creamer, sugar and instant tea. Stir in ginger, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. In a blender or food processor, blend 1 cup at a time, until mixture is the consistency of fine powder.
2 To serve: Stir 2 heaping tablespoons Chai tea mixture into a mug of hot water.

Note
You may choose to omit the French vanilla creamer, and use 2 teaspoons vanilla extract instead. To do so, mix the vanilla into the sugar, let it dry, then break the sugar into small lumps. Follow the same procedure as above.

Mmmmm...coffee...

My favorite coffees are 100% Kona from Hawaii dark raosted (I buy it off the internet) for special occasions and Cafe du Monde coffee and Chickory blend from New Orleans for everyday use. (I LOVE my coffee..LOL)

I am a very rare chai drinker, but the best spices I have ever had are from World Merchant Spice (www.worldspice.com). Click "Leaf Teas" and the Chai spices are listed.

Happy brewing!
