So my friend is worried about the coffee lol. She finds some coffees give her a bad stomach.
We were supposed to stay at CS and she was gonna bring k-cups. I ended up switching us to PQFQ and she's scared because she needs her coffee to survive but last thing one wants in the park is tummy trouble.
How has everyone found the coffee? Anyone with the same issues with coffee and have opinions? TIA

I find that the local water gives me more issues than any one brand if coffee does. I always bring my own coffee and buy gallon jugs of spring water to make it.

Thanks for the water tip. The POFQ coffee makers have weird pods that I have never seen before so I don't think bringing from home (Canada) will be an option.

Have her buy her coffee from one of the Joffrey's stands in the parks, or at the hotel quick serve place, rather than making it in the room. Those coffee makers and the pods they give you are absolute crap. They use filtered water at the Joffreys carts/stands. There is also Starbucks in every park.

Alternatively, can she find a cold shelf stable coffee in cans or something locally and pack them in her luggage? There are all kinds of ice coffees and nitro cold brews on the market these days that are in cans.

Are there small k-cup machines which go on sale, which she could have shipped to herself at the hotel? Then buy water in the hotel gift shop to use in the machine.

Thanks all. I think we will do a grocery delivery for water. I'm trying to stear her from getting in a line up for coffee, gonna slow us down and trust me it's better if she sips coffee when she's getting ready verses after we are moving. lol

We started using bottled water to make coffee at WDW years ago. The water there does not agree with me at all. The changeover did the trick for me. I hope it is helpful for your friend!

I recommend running tap water thru a couple of times to help clean .
If local , vinegar would be better but at least once or twice turned on to heat the machine and the water.

You can always buy a Brita water filter bottle and run it through that. Saves a bunch on bottled water. Filters are replaceable and the bottles last forever. We always found the coffee from the food courts to be pretty good. I drink water from the tap at Fort Wilderness these days and it's actually pretty good. We also have filters in the RV fridge. Same result.
