Coffee and Tea Exchange Sign-Up

Sympathies to those with all the weather problems. It has been quite a winter here as well.
 I wanna move to my new house :(

Good news is the 20" or so we had of snow has now melted....because it has been raining nonstop for 2 days. We are now on flood alert.
22 rivers are at or over flood stage.
All major roads across the mountains are closed due to avalache threats and mudslides.
Hoping DH can get home tonight. We live on the other side of one of the flooded rivers
Is it spring yet??

The weather has just been crazy these past few months across the U.S.
We have had it great here, and one of the few places in the country that has. However I hope it will not be our turn later this year.

Hi ALL!!

We are back from our wonderful WDW trip!!!....and not a moment too soon! :thumbsup2 I am so excited to see this exchange!! I was hoping we would be back in time to do this...

PM being sent!! :cool1:

Anyone suffering from too much snow care to blow some over our way? My kids would love some more snow to go sledging. Seriously though, I hope all of you stay safe and warm. :goodvibes

I will Gladly share my snow!:tinker: we have had our fill!

Nancy-hope you dry out soon;) we had some flooding in our city last year, some genious built the town ON water, yaaaa great idea! Actually alot of New England had flooding, not good.

And I LOVE that Fla. is mild, I have family that lives there, one being my 83 yo gma, so mild is best!

Welcome back, Eva!! Can't wait to hear about your trip.

The road out of town to my house is between 2 forks of the river, so it gets it from both sides. One side is the soccer field, so that side is good. Soccer Lake. The other side is right by the river so it floods.
The road is closed today. DH is taking the long way around to get to work.
I-5 is closed in the southern part of the state....the route we need to take next week for the girlfriends' birthday trip....but they are pumping it and it should be good later today. They can't leave it closed too long...too much $$ lost from the trucking that goes on along it.
The state is a mess....too much snow, then rain melting it and no where for it to go.
I think I need a cup of tea :teeth:

Nancy----try Teavana!! youll love it:love: and some galoshes;)

Ohhh...don't get me started looking at tea sites!!
I have already ordered enough things lately. Goes with sitting home with nothing to do waiting for the 2 trips to come :rotfl:

I did buy rubber boots for the trip to the beach, so I am set there ;)
I had a couple cups of the Christmas blend.....I only have about 5 bags left

:woohoo: Sounds like a good group now.

For anyone interested, here is a link to our local paper with flood news and pictures.
The highway to town is now open :yay: I hate being cut off.

Here is the link to our local paper if anyone is interested in seeing some of the flood news.

Morning everyone! I think we found our new favorite. Green Mountain Golden French Toast K-Cups. Holy cow they are awesome!!!!! It reminds me a bit of the Disney Holiday Blend

Hope everyone has a great weekend and a break from all the lousy weather that seems to be out there. I think we are getting some tomorrow, but have been lucky so far this season!!!

:)

Nancy those pics are aweful, I hope everyone is ok! What a mess!
We are due to get more snow this weekend, grrrr, everything here is ice, I have slipped and fallen once already:scared1: , sore back for a few days, fine now, but I hate stepping outside!

CANNOT WAIT TIL SPRING :cool2:

Ohhh...take care. I almost slipped a couple of times when we were in snow mode.
I stay in!! I wanna move!! Was so hoping not to have another winter here. Stupid real estate market!!

We are much better today.
Sun was out. I went to town and our river was down. The whole soccer field was showing :rotfl: Looked pretty normal.
I know it isn't like that everywhere though.
We do still have fields around town that are lakes.
The roads here all opened. The interstates, both the main north/south and east/west were due to open this afternoon. That will be a mess as 1000s of trucks get on their way again!
Stay safe!!

I am up to my baker's dozen of participants! :cool1:
Still time for anyone else to join in. Monday is the last sign up day! Names go out Tuesday!

The crazy, severe weather makes me wonder what the heck?!?

Cant wait for the names on this one!:yay:

Oh Merriweather!!! I am so sorry for your severe stuff.... I have a friend up there too..and she is expecting her 1st baby anyday now and I hope things will be OK.

I just don't know what is going on with the weather this year!! :confused3

I am getting so excited about this exchange!! :surfweb:

All the roads are open now.......and the rivers receded, so your friend should be alright.
We are getting more rain  but it is colder, so the run off should not factor in.

I am going shopping soon :yay: Did I say, I love to shop ;)
