Time get out your tea strainers, cozies and coffee mugs!
Join this exchange to savor the joys of coffee and tea.
The exchange is for coffees, teas, and anything related to these.
In addition to exchanging coffee and/or tea, I ask each participant to include at least one recipe. Preferably one you have made, so it is tried and true.
The recipe can be drink related or something you have made that goes along with our theme. As example, I have a good tea sandwich recipe.
The recipe could be for anything -- from cookies to beverages.
This is a $10 minimum exchange, not including mailing costs.
Last day to sign up is Monday, January 12.
Names will go out the following evening, January 13.
Mail by deadline is Saturday, January 24.
Someone once made a good suggestion to include a local newspaper in this exchange. If you wish to, please feel free to do so. Keep in mind that will be an extra above the $10 minimum, and not a requirement.
If interested, PM me prior to 01/12/09:

Jack Sparrow's Hot Buttered Coffee
1 pound brown sugar
1/2 pound salted butter
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves

Blend all ingredients together to make a creamy mixture. Add 1-2 tablespoons to a large cup, add coffee.
For a super pick-me-up, use a double shot of espresso.
For a super-dooper-pick-me-up-and-toss-me-down, add a jigger of spiced or dark rum.
Whipped cream topping at your pleasure.
