I know they have them there, but I'm just wondering what kind they are. I want to bring my own coffee and am wondering if I will need to bring filters, etc. Are they small, 4-cup size or regular size? TIA!

We leave tomorrow a.m.!

The last time I was there, July 2004, they were 4 cup coffemakers. Don't know what type of coffee they leave with them. Hopefully someone who has been recently can provide some updated information.

We stayed at CBR last Sept. I brought the 4 cup filters and my own coffee. It was a great way to start and end a day with fresh coffee. We did not use the coffee Disney left. I just don't care for Disney's coffee in the room or food court. I am hoping the coffee is better in the food court at POFQ. We are trying this hotel for the first time. :)

I spend 40% of my days traveling for my job as a Linux Geek for a government IT contracting firm. I practically live in hotels. The coffee I've gotten in every case has been just average. And you only ever get one filter pack of decaf and one of regular. I suppose you could call and ask for more, but if coffee is important to you you might consider bringing your own filters and coffee as suggested above.

Thanks for the replies. Do I need special 4-cup filters? Are they basket filters, cone?

I would use the 4-cup basket filters since that is what would best fit the coffeemaker. The filters provided by POFQ are round and kind of flat, even though they are prefilled with coffee.

Here's a photo of what to expect (sorry, its a little dark, but I hope it will give you an idea).

and if the water still smells - I will use bottled spring water (pick up a gallon at publix) --- The stuff they sell in the food court is disgusting. Stayed there 3 years ago. I was at Coronado Springs resort last year, it was better, and the water must be filtered - it wasnt disgusting brushing my teeth it was fine. Maybe they put in water filtration at POR and POFQ too?

If anyone has beein to Port Orleans lately... how was the water?
